RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2012/2013)

The other important point is that from a tv point of view, it'd be better for sky if united won less titles and that different clubs won the league on a more regular basis.

More so considering we actively fought off their bid to buy the club.

Send that guy a few tweets, put him right.

That said, it does raise some very odd points. Some of those stats about referees are just ridiculous.

Until it emerges that there are refs who go as long without refereeing arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and City games. Further I suspect there are refs who go a whole season and don't referee a game with teams like Stoke, Fulham, Wigan etc.

A former ref was making this point on talksport a few weeks ago. Obviously he's also part of the conspiracy ;)

What I don't understand is, if Ferguson has control over everything and picks the refs - why does he feel the need to complain about them so often? Why is the referees only not getting United games after they've - according to Ferguson - made mistakes? How does Atkinson still have a job? Surely a man with power like that would know how to appoint the right ones and make sure they'd behave.

Does it? I haven't seen them all but I know there were a few going on twitter.
Like someone said Mike Dean hasn't refereed at OT since the Blackburn defeat but the fact is he's only had 1 Old Trafford game per season in each of the last three seasons(not including this). This season isnt over either.

There was a theory about us losing heavily and not getting that same ref again for a long time. But Webb refereed our 3-0 defeat to Newcastle last season and a month later he was given our Chelsea game.

I even got one out myself just to prove how purely coincidental and unsubstantial these things are.
Since city lost 1-0 at Swansea, Lee Mason hasn't refereed a single one of their games.

I'm sure if I dug deep enough with other clubs I could find coincidences like it. I question the mental health of those who do these things. This obsession with the idea that United are part of a conspiracy has taken over their lives. It's quite scary to think there are random people out there digging through so much, writing so much for absolutely no reason, when nobody who matters, gives or will ever give a flying feck about their theories.

If you go looking and digging it's only a matter of time before you have enough "evidence" to support your loony theory. I'm fairly certain it could be done about pretty much any other club, but there's few fanbases as deluded and obsessed as Liverpool's. A lot of the "stats" are also very conveniently put. The long list made on that blog with referees making their "comeback" and giving us favourable decisions for example; there's no word on whether it was the correct decision or not. There's also no list showing the referees who in their "comeback" has giving unfavourable calls or just been neutral.

As with all conspiracy theories there's plenty of "evidence" to be found if you're looking hard enough and if you're presenting it "right".

With RAWK being down anyone else afraid for their internet safety?

What happens when all those looney characters have nowhere to go to vent their looney ideas?

This too, like I saw the Stoke game mentioned, even though our two pens in that game were nailed on pens.

Does anybody know who might know something?

a@a maybe?

They're looking for the next thing to keep their sanity

before it's their 18-5, next year is their year, kenny the savior, and now they don't have anything else they resort to "CORRUPT AS feck"

It helps them going to bed knowing we win it all cheating, it does.

Really? You are as bad as the retards that infest that website if you feel the need to find a reason for their behaviour.

From another forum. Either...

Shut down for now. It went mental apparently after the Chelsea United game. The RAWK meltdown thread on redcafe were discussing it. Threads closed galore and then the site went off.

Or...

The server's crapped out again

I was talking to a liverpool supporting friend and was telling him how Suarez had a good game against Everton but was an absolute c*nt for the way he celebrated his goal.
My friend thinks it was the perfect celebration as Suarez was simply being made a victim and that there was only ONE instance when he has actually dived.
I knew there was no point talking to the guy so just changed the topic!

Its like the coin only has one side to some people.

What about decisions that have not gone in our favour in the past? Only decisions for us count while against us should be ignored?

fecking hilarious how people manage to live on without common sense.

Also every fecking one of these stupid opposition fans need to take lessons on "logic"

Lol dr manhattan that used to be on RAWK might know.

His feed is good to dip in your lemon-lime.

I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if they deleted the entire forum in a fit of rage.

Closing a forum down because we won a game, that's just insane. I'm sure that's not really why it's down though...

I think the 'Brown Envelope/SAFs 25 year ref conspiracy/All of football is geared towards United winning' brigade have accounts on Bluemoon which the flee to when RAWK goes down.

Liverpool supporters now claiming that The Ferguson conspiracy cover up is as bad as the Jimmy Saville cover up. You couldn't make it up.

Nah. I think it has been hacked. If they were going to close the forum down the board would still be there but you just wouldn't be able to sign up, log in or post there.

If they've not got a recent backup of their database then they'll be in a bit of trouble so it could be a while before RAWK is back up.

I just wish RAWK was around in 1999.

Imagine the reaction to us beating them at OT in the cup,The Bergkamp penalty miss, our comeback against Juventus, us coming from a goal down against spurs to win the league and the CL final.

Hilarious. You have to scroll down to the 6th or 7th blog entry to get one which is actually about Liverpool and not about United's supernatural control over the entire world of football
