From there photoshop page.

That's actually very funny

What's next?

Morphing current Liverpool players in to their last league win celebrations?

I completely disagree. You're going to have to point to this other time when he did it?

I've seen him exaggerate fouls before but never dive, that was the first I can say I've seen an actual dive from him. Please back up what you're saying and provide the instance.

Lala land.. :wenger:

Competition time again!
An easy one this time.

What's the general theme of the post from which this excerpt is lifted?
Aesop dealt with the simplicities, his fables neatly concluding with a digestible moral to the story. But the archaic tale, composed to understand consequences and little else, needs a more complex, modern assessment.
Answer:
Suarez's diving, of course.

Julian Jaynes' bicameral mind theory?
Damn, wrong again...

Julian Jaynes' bicameral mind theory?
Had to google; who said this thread is bitter and obsessed? It's no such thing -- it's funny and it's educational. Cheers, Steve! :)

Meanwhile back on RAWK, they're coming down like a ton of bricks on the inexcusable stupidity of regarding Suarez's dive-within-a-dive as, well, any kind of dive at all --

The furore over Suarez just highlights how stupid and easily impressible the general populace is. People do not think for themselves and simply swallow up whatever the latest media offering is and regurgitate them as their own thoughts, as shown by the sheer amount of times people have commented that Suarez moves in an unnatural manner after it was highlighted on sky sports.

it's sickening to see ordinarily intelligent people surrender their minds to mindless buffoons like the majority of football pundits in this country. Absolutely sickening to see.

Well, that told us, I guess. The general populace.

mindless buffoons like the majority of football pundits in this country

...the majority which seems to consist of ex-Liverpool players, funnily enough.

That's the brilliance of it - nobody is going to accuse them of the deep thought required to pull-off a conspiracy this deep.

Some of our players dived, most of us here just say fair enough, that's a bit of a shame dive.

But they're really altering the whole universe every week for this guy Suarez. Who would have thought Rafa can be topped...

lol

I can't wait to see what's this Suarez gonna do next, or what it'll takes until the scouse turns on him

After watching the Gif of the Huth 'stamp' a couple of times, all I could think of was one of those yappy little dogs trying to bite the tyres on an 18-wheeler. Those never end cleanly.

They'd be bashing him just as much as other fans if he didn't play for them specificaly.
But what you fail to understand is that once you put the Liverpool shirt on, you are impervious to mistakes, bad behaviour, and just general douchiness.

All it will take is a transfer request.

I don't think that will be the case - I mean obviously he will make a move probably sooner than later as (however much of a cnut he is) he is too talented to spend his best years playing for a team challenging for a Europa League spot, but when it happens then they will blame us/the media/Pulis/Huth/the referees/the FA/David Cameron for chasing him out of the country with our evil agenda against their sweet second coming of Christ.

I think his place with them is secure - nothing he does will be his fault.

Unless he moves to United the scouse won't turn on him when he leaves, they'll blame Ferguson for forcing him out. There are already people on there saying they almost wish he would leave becvause of how much he's being victimised.

He hasn't bitten anyone for a long time.

I really hope he gets a defender against him that will make him snap, Ivanovic could do the trick. :P

All it will take is a transfer request.

Just look at Fernando Torres.

He arrived at Liverpool, scored a bucket full of goals and was the darling of Anfield. He got fed up, handed in a transfer request and before you know it, they were burning his shirt :D

Torres had his fair share of being a dick. He moaned to the ref, went down easy and acted like a bellend at times, but he was never on the same level as Suarez. I don't think anybody could be (unless your name is John Terry!).

Suarez is not so much the boy who cried wolf but the new Loki, the Trickster, The Devil incarnate. He is no longer vilified for his actions but for being Suarez.

Having said that it was as pathetic a dive as I've seen - he has bizarrely had far better cases and never appealed but as an act of stupidity there has not been many worse. Thats foriegners for ye...

Suarez and the carnivorous canis lupus:

They now have a song for their joke of a manager. It's of course pathetic and tragicomic. And shit. It goes like this:

To the tune of Danny Boy.

Oh Brendan boy the cups and league are calling
From Europe's dreams to Premier leagues one day
And we will rise from a past so steeped in glory
To win to win, for it's the Liverpool way

And never let the memories we carry
Bend our resolve to set a winning tone
For we will claim the trophies and the medals
Oh mighty reds, you'll never walk alone.

WTF this is serious! I thought you had made it up once I read the song.

Oh Brendan boy the cups and league are calling
The sound is low, its muffled through a wall.
We live in the past, and relish former glories.
To whinge to whinge, it is the Liverpool way

We always let those memories we carry
Cloud our judgement and inform our tone.
For we will blame others for our misfortunes.
And never say our team is just piss poor.

The Championship is certainly calling.

They've always had a better squad, manager and fans, it's a big mystery how we're always above them.

This is just amazing.

Why is it Chicharito shooting Suarez... shouldn't it be Evans (or Evra?).

I mean I'm not complaining that any of us is depicted blowing a hole in that dirtbag... but shouldn't they be getting it right.

and as for Stevie Alonso... didn't they have both of them?... and then decided to replace the one who would go on to win the world cup with Gareth Barry (who, in fairness has more EPL championships than Stevie G will ever have).

Net spend, la.
