RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2012/2013)

Reread the thread. I was asked my opinion on Rooney, I gave it. They refuted it, I said they were wrong. I got banned.

Giggs is terrible at defending, Gerrard is probably Rooney's only real competition but he lacks the pace now, which is why Rooney edges it.

Giggs is 100 now, he has been one of the best wingers in defense in history of EPL. He can play behind the striker, in either wing and as a central midfielder. Gerrard is old now too, but he still was very good this year as a box to box, while in the past he has been excellent as an AMC and good/decent as a central midfielder and right winger.

You get banned because you called Suarez a prick (an even bigger prick than Rooney). Would you have banned if you called a United player a prick at Caf? Absolutely not. But RAWK has a far more dictatorial style so for anyone who has read RAWK, that was easily to known that you were out the moment you talked bad for a LFC player (especially if he is for them the second coming of Jesus).

And finally, Mata has been probably better than Rooney as an all round player. Except the charisma/leadership but Rooney lacked it this year anyway.

Perhaps I bear baited in that respect a little but I wasn't really on a wind up, I'd have been far more subtle.

You can't slag off Suarez. He's a god over there. Considering they ban their own for speaking against Suarez and Rafa it wasn't a surprise you got banned. Perhaps they might have had a bit more tolerance though considering it's probably the best day they've had in football for years.

It's a shame really, some of them seemed alright and quite levelheaded. So long, my acquaintances. It could have been beautiful.

What's annoying me now is they're putting words into my mouth and ignoring everything I said in the thread. I absolutely hate the fact Rooney had an affair while his wife was pregnant with his child, it's absolutely disgusting and completely morally bankrupt.

Failed attempt mate. You didn't play by their rules in their home and got banned. Do I think that their rules are right? Of course not, but it is their forum, their rules. Probably the best thing is to not comment on their players anyway, but that's hard in a LFC forum.

I am going there soon though, and I expect myself to rarely post and that mostly on United things. I think that I'll stay longer than you though.

Failed attempt at what? I wasn't going to post there long-term.

If we win the Charity Shield in August, Moyes will have won more trophies with Man Utd, then the last 3 liverpool managers put together.

They won the Carling Cup last year or the year before. Charity shield isn't a trophy.

Dalglish won the Carling Cup.

Young jake, stop embarrassing yourself and talking bullshit. They won Carling Cup last season which is a bigger trophy than CS.

But I think that it is extremely likely that he will win more than last three LFC managers (considering into account only Dalglish's latest spell) in his first season here. That would happen if he win Charity Shield and Carling Cup or one of FA Cup, Premier League or a surprise in UCL.

I remember that one  So many brilliant bits. This is probably the best for me:
Time will tell who's got the better deal, but for value for money I know who I'm backing. It's a bit like Houllier and Ferguson have both dined at the same top class restaurant and had their pick of the best main courses on the menu.

Houllier has managed to get his dish at a quarter of the cost Ferguson has paid, and yet it's his rival who is getting all the praise.

Young Jake  I made a mistake, sorry.

Fair play TH, had a read over morning coffee. I thought you'd get banned but I have prior conception of how militant and retarded their moderating is.

It's an interesting little sortie into the minds of these people. Some crazy responses there and someone even asking 'are you a manc?' like it mattered.

There is some serious lemming mentality going on in that forum. Crazy stuff. No wonder their fans are seen as some of the least likable in country.

The part I found strange was that he said he was a United supporter, not only in his first post, but a few times in the thread, his username was a direct reference to a current United striker that's not exactly an obscure name.

Yet still, every page, "are you a manc?" Like he's some kind of forum secret agent ninja attempting to infiltrate their secret, clandestine, publicly readable forum.

Those lads sniffing TH out would put Scooby and the gang to shame.

Oh, so they've started talking about us, then? And their mods are allowing it? I thought they were above all that.

That's a lie. I knew they weren't. They just had to stay away from the perch for fear of getting shat on.

I guess they think it's their turn to do the laughing. Not with Brendan Rodgers in charge. He couldn't even finish above Moyes' Everton side.

We're obsessed because we look at Rawk, but a few posts one of them quotes the Jake post. Ironic.

Rival fans always want to laugh at each other, this calling each other obsessive is getting silly now.

To be fair, jake was silly making that post and getting it wrong.

Was going through TH's conversation and there was one guy who's afraid Benitez would take over at Everton and take them to a top 3 finish next season

On that thread, there are one or two decent human beings who actually give you a chance. But as soon as you mentioned Suarez TH you pretty much signed your ban certificate.

To all the RAWKites reading: Thank you for such an amusing read, you really did show a lot of class welcoming one of ours into your forum. Obviously a case of "you can't take what you give" there, but hey ho have fun not being in Europe for the next couple of years :)

Why are you here if you don't believe we can be the best team in the league again one day?

At the time of writing not one RAWKite has answered this dimwitted question with "because we're LFC supporters, not glory hunters".
