Thing is, they are pretending like this is a new thing. But he bit someone's ear when he was at Ajax.

I don't know about cowardly, but you'd never see Keane doing something so... weird. There wasn't even a ruckus, like at Ajax. He just went vampire out of nowhere.

Liverpool fans are citing Cantona too. The difference is Cantona and Keane had a terrible temper, whereas Suarez is all about gamesmanship. He does shit like this (along with racially abusing opponents) to try and get a reaction, to get the opponent sent off.

This man action isn't relate to his nationality. It's not fair to our fellow Uruguayan Caf resident. Just imho.

He often does, but I don't think there was any gamesmanship about this. He just completely lost it. The weird thing is how little cause there was. Being tackled once = bite defender. Jeeeez.

I don't know they are citing Eric.

Eric was banned for 9 months for the Kung Fu Kick by the FA and for six months by the club. The result of the ban was that he never did anything out of order on a football pitch again.

This is the only explanation.

He wanted to get a reaction, EXACTLY like he did when he racially abused Evra.

He knew what he was doing, it was planned and cynical.

If he wasn't good at football he'd probably end up in prison. He presumably has some form of ASPD.

Well, Cantona had his moments of red mist... Keane is mentioned in these cases mostly because of the Haaland incident but that was no demonstration of "temper". That was a calculated, cynical act of revenge.

I agree with you about Suárez though.

at the start of the season, could we have asked for ANY more from LFC. its been another pleasure guys, thanks so much. keep it coming next year

The Scouse kitman should have wrapped that black plastic grief tape around the cnuts gob instead of round his arm.

Is there video of this?

comparisons between keane, cantona and eve barton are unfair. I cant condone some of the challenges they made. Haaland one was horrible. cantona should have known better than dive into a crowd, though I think that hed do it again and some would argue why not. The difference here is that while those types of players are agressive and lose their heads suarez is the master of the even more sinister side of the game. a dirty tackle- which suarez is more guilty of than anyone anyway, is a world away from constant diving, imaginary card waving, racism and biting.

He has no place on a pitch. Its beyond any other type of offence you can possibly do on a pitch. 10 game ban, but hopefully thats the last of him in this league. balotelli and suarez out in the space of a year. not bad

Cantona and Keane were your typical guys who mixed it up when needed. They just happened to be great footballers too.

This twat puts a girl to shame.
