RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

Suarez Sky player of the year

It's bizarre how scousers always take these things so seriously. He'd probably struggle to make my top 5. Surely RVP is streets ahead.

'joey55' reasonably states:
I don't think Suarez is really the main issue now amongst football fans, Liverpool FC are. The LFC reaction is what has caused all the stir and that wont be forgotten for a very long time. This thread (rawk in the most recognised source of Liverpool fan opinions), Dalglish's comments and the Twitter abuse are being talked about amongst non Liverpool fans, more than Suarez himself. Many of those who wanted Suarez banned would acknowledge it isn't a clear case of racism. Many think 8 games is harsh (based on the little we've heard of what happened.) But virtually no one has any time for the way Liverpool responded. It's no longer a discussion simply about the incident itself and whether Suarez got fair or harsh treatment. If when we learn more about what went on, Suarez is still seen as a racist, then it wont simply be a case of Suarez being tainted by this in the future, but the LFC itself. I'm not saying if that is right or wrong, but just that it will happen and already is.

'Andy@Allerton' replies:
Bollocks. I heard the Wigan fans singing "Racist.. Racist.."

I've seen the Manchester United fans on a video with "Racist.. Racist.."

You are talking bollocks. This is all about Suarez and his victimisation as an 'easy target Johnny Foreigner' with the Xenophobic English FA and Xenophobic English fans.

And if they don't like LFC's reactions then they can go and feck themselves.

None of the Manchester United fans have the bottle to even discuss this particular issue with me because they know the whole thing is a bag of shite. Read what their own fans are saying about Evra on the fecking Red Cafe website.

Another poster (talking about joey55) adds:
He's not even a Liverpool fan he supports Spurs.

(joey responds to our friend, Andy):
Nothing you've written changes anyhting I've said. I'm not giving an opinion on what happened or the rights and wrongs of things. I'm not suggesting they aren't going to target Suarez. I'm not discussing whether LFC's reaction was right or not. I'm pointing out that Suarez himself isn't what is causing the stir at the moment as much as the LFC (club and fans) reaction. You mention Redcafe, but they are mainly talking about RAWK responses. The press have been full of stories about LFC's club response. This isn't just about people passing judgement on Suarez anymore.

Andy ignores the point, and whines:
If you haven't noticed Liverpool FC has been slagged off for donkeys years.

I'm not from Liverpool, but I live here now. I remember as a kid the stereotypes and portrayal of Liverpool from outside, then when I moved here I saw it from the inside.

If you think the country joining up to senselessly slag off a whole swathe of people for feck all reason apart from "They want to" then you must have been living in a fecking cave your entire life.

Just go down south, East or North to hear the varients of "Them fecking Scaaaarsarss.. Always fecking moaning" even fecking politicians representing the Country say fecking bollocks like "Self Pity City"

No wonder Liverpool wants little to do with the bellends in England.

Some muppet pipes up:
Perhaps we could get special dispensation to feck this league off and join La Liga. Barca & Real Madrid wont know whats hit em! (Although they would both know what to expect)

I think they'll expect to be called names.

some say that Andy@Allerton is just a harmless WUM. Well, he´s such a nutter that it seems he´ll tie himself in knots to show that calling a black player "negro" is a just a term of affection, in the name of LFC. He´s fecked in the head and has found a true home on that site.

The twitter stuff is astonishing and it's preposterous that the sites policy on abuse is just to ignore it.

So one of the most used sites in the world now needs to monitor content because someone's feelings might get hurt? While it's despicable abuse, it's ridiculous to expect them to monitor and remove anything that might be deemed offensive. If the police ask them to remove it, then they're given the choice. Otherwise, I don't think Twitter should be censoring things that someone might think is offensive. It would end up restricting much of what the site is used for.

On the other hand, why should the police have their time wasted because a huge website can't be arsed to moderate it's users? Surely there are terms and conditions that users agree to abide by?

Why not just play the Oldham game give Oldham their share of the gate receipts and then just tell the FA they will not be getting their third of the money. Tell them we set up a three man independant panel who have ruled that the FA isn't going to get the money.

We have excellent reasons for doing so and we will give them the reasons in a month or so when we can be arsed getting the papers typed up. Obviously we know the FA should get the money but we feel we have to make a stand because there are corrupt organisations out there and we need to make it perfectly clear to people like sepp Blatter than you should treat corruption with zero tolernce whether an organisation is corrupt or not.

In fact both Liverpool FC and the three man panel who met in secret at an unnamed location think that the FA are not corrupt but we need to send out a clear message. Can we have the money is very similar language to what a shyster would use so I am afraid we cannot be anbigious on this matter.
:wenger:

On the Le Saux/Fowler incident from years ago:

The most homphobic person there was Le Saux. Disgracefully, the PFA backed him.

I aint for one minute saying that Fowler should not have been punished. But he was treating being gay as a laughing matter. It was Le Saux who took being gay as a grievous insult, and the PFA who backed that stance.

There's a pattern here, isnt there.

Homphobic abuse. Very prevalent. Should be stamped out. Only person punished, an LFC player.

Dissent to ref. Very prevalent. Should be stamped out. Nothing done to Ashley Cole. Nothing done to Rooney or Terry. Mascherano (rightly) punished. And now the whole club in the dock over the Spearing Red.

Racist abuse. A player a few years ago (Mackie) rightly punished for admitted used of the n word (the actual one; not Daniel Taylor's version). Several other cases rejected. Suarez gets the same punishment as Mackie. Evra gets off Scot free (and I bet he isnt the only one who will escape a ban this season).

So basically, every time they need a scapegoat, they turn to us.

Let that be a lesson to you all. If someone shows you their arse in front of tens of thousands of people (and millions watching at home), you are NOT to take offence, as that would mean you think being gay is a bad thing. :nono:

I don't see why a person thinks they can have free rein to type whatever level of vileness they want? Twitter should be subject to proper moderation like any other site. If they don't get on top off it now, this is the type of stuff that could potentially bring their site down

Not that it really matters, has Sky been notified the fixing Liverpool fans were doing in the hours leading up to the midnight closure of that player voting poll?

Has anyone sent them a xmas message saying thankyou from all at the redcafe?

Andy@allerton is reading Red Cafe, and his conclusion is

You know, banter's all fun and good until you're a racist sympathizer. Then it's not funny anymore.

I can't help but feel a little sorry for these people, if you're too dumb or blinkered to figure this one out, I don't know what can be done for you.

 He is so full of shit it's funny. I actually feel really sorry for him, must be hell living in constant paranoia and stupidity.

I thought the same thing to, but who would WUM racism? That's almost worse than being racist. Racists are ignorant, a WUM knows better and still chooses to sympathize with racist actions.

No Andy, the reason we don't discuss with you is because you wouldn't know reason if it jumped up and bit you on the bollocks. If there is a more blinkered poster on the internet, i've yet to have the pleasure

Andy@Allerton claiming he's a well respected poster here with a large amount of posts.

Sadly the hoax fell flat when he suggested someone on redcafe would be as queer as he suggests.

The way other posters say that I'm one of the most respected posters there and "They should really listen to what I'm saying" is great.

Yes, because those sound like phrases that anyone on the caf could possibly use without being crucified for being an arselicking twat. Wish he'd done his research.

It's true, I have successfully infiltrated RedCafe and am much loved by those Manc cretins. After nearly 5 years of undercover research, 8480 posts and a huge amount of browsing hours, I have come to the conclusion that those sad twats are a obsessed with our great club.

Edit: Ah shit, posted on the wrong forum. Ignore this post!!!

Liverpool supporters and members of the RAWK needs time to come out of this hysterical psychos. They need time to heal their souls and to get their pride back. At the moment the majority can't look at this case in a objective way.

I think it's simple and born of years of frustration. It's not easy to see your nearest rival go from zero to hero and take over your position as the best club in the country. Not only do we at the moment outclass them regarding trophies we also seems to cope better with future demands to stay successful. Our biggest challenge is to cope with a life without Sir Alex, but ATM that problem is on hold. For Liverpool the challenge is so much bigger. Not only do they struggle to stay in top 4 they also needs economical strength to build a successful platform for the future. It's not so easy when City and Chelsea have nearly unlimited recourse's and both us and Arsenal have a bigger stadium, more income's and a more stabile economical structure.

To compete with this they need a long term plan and stability, something Liverpool have missed the last decade. Benitez was on his way but lost the plot near the goal line and that debacle put them back to square one again. Now they put their hope in KKK, aka Kop King Kenny Dalglish, and he's the man to unit them and make them challenge for top 4, but he's not the man to make them win the League or challenge for CL, that's a problem for them.

The verdict against Suarez was straight forward and fair for all excepts supporters to Pool. Dalglish fecked up big time in his first comments and his behavior sat the tone for this hysteria. Sooner or later the emotions will calm down and they will come to terms with the verdict, probably not accept it and think it's fair but they will live with it. Then maybe they will look back at them selves and understand that their behavior was bad and without foundation.

I want Liverpool back to normal. To be our biggest rival and a strong contender to title's but without the outrageous hate and hysterical tone they now have. We need them and they need us. Two proud clubs who have succeed out of hard work and a strong supporter base. We are different to City and Chelsea and we earned our success and that's why we need each other more then ever to balance out this new challenge and show the world that you can be successful without unlimited resources.

I hope time will heal the wounds and maybe then we will move on from this sad story. England and the football world don't want racist behavior and foolish supporters. There is always room for more understanding and friendship. Even between Liverpool and Manchester United.

A poster in the newbies PM'd me to say that Andy is always claiming that no United fans come from Manchester, so it was quite funny and hypocritical of him to admit he doesnt even come from Liverpool

They explained that he was winning at midnight but due to a technical glitch the poll had stayed open til 8pm and "United fans had stayed up a little bit later, sorry Liverpool fans". Kammy mentioned having two awards and then said he thought RVP should've won.

We don't need them at all and if you want that type of rival, Arsenal, if they got their act together last season would be a completely different beast than what they are now. To be honest when Wilshere is back, him and Ramsay will make a formidable midfield and with RvP firing on all cylinders Arsenal's attack is easily one of the best in the league and all they are missing is a strong back line. Szczesny has gone a good way to helping that but they need a couple of good central defenders and then I am sure they could have a go at challenging again.

saw that earlier..isnt there anyone on here with a RAWK account that could bump that thread?

Already been talked about. You cannot bump it because it's already been locked and when someone brought it up in Suarez thread, they got banned.

My sister has just gone home after visiting us, she is one of the most bitter, Liverpool obsessed Evertonians I have ever met. Believe me, she is like a dog with a f*cking bone given the chance to put the boot in on any of our players.

I hung a big Suarez poster over the dining table just to make things abundantly clear how I felt about the situation and normally anything like that would have been like a red rag to a bull with her.

What did she say about Suarez in the 7 hours she was here? Not a f*cking thing. Spoke volumes for me.
