RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

Given the money spent, the resulting ability-nosedive of the new players, and the unconditional infatuation of the fans, KK is like a Turbo-Rafa

Funnily they sold Meireles and Aquilani, two midfielders who are much better than Adams, Lucas etc

Why they got rid of Meireless I'll never understand. The guy turned out to be a very good player for them. They prefer overrated players it appears

Because he is the only one in their midfield who can say he's currently better than Gerrard and people would actually believe it

Apparently they owed him money (contract bonus?) that they refused to play. fecking Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime.

I really really want them to surpass our record of 26 years without winning the top division. In the 70's and 80's I honestly thought it would never happen and to be fair they did have some great sides back then.

Meireles and Aquilani were unhappy at Liverpoo at wanted out of the club, Kenny wanted to hold onto them but couldn't.

Would you want to play in a side that can't even guarantee Europa League football if you were a decent player? Unless you're a Liverpool supporter i.e. in the mould of Gerrard you're not gonna want to stay there.

(Although even Stevie Starfish probably regrets staying there now!)

Oh he must...

They will barring some mega-billionaire buying the club from the Henry group.

When Dalglish took over last season, Liverpool were 11 points from 4th place, they finished the season 10 points behind 4th placed Arsenal.

Some miracle worker, and he had Suarez to light up the place while Hodgson had the early edition of the joke of a footballer we see today in Torres.

They're all feeling sorry for themselves because Spurs beat Fulham today:

Premier League Fixtures 5th & 6th November

Football just fecking hates us, doesn't it? I mean it just really really fecking despises us.

No lads. You've hired the wrong managers for as long as I can remember, bought generally average players for as long as I can remember and played shit-on-a-stick football for as long as I can remember. You're not "the mighty Liverpool" anymore and haven't been since the 80s. The only people who think that Liverpool are title contenders are people like Phil Thompson and Andy@Allerton at the beginning of every season. This "victim mentality" is what you lot constantly rip the piss out of Everton supporters for; when if anything, you lot are worse than them.

They also can't seem to accept that other teams have got better over the years, not just United; but teams like Spurs who simply have a better manager and more talented players than Liverpool. It's got nothing to do with "football despising you" dear RAWKites. The facht of the matter is, your manager and team simply aren't good enough and you are getting found out, just as many on these forums predicted before a ball was kicked this season.

To be fair that means they picked up more points than the 4th placed side under Dalglish.

Micky Quinn still thinks they're title contenders.

That fat twunt is the epitome of "scouser"

The penny is finally dropping that they spent bucketloads on average players. The post-match thread makes for excellent reading. Downing, Adam and Dalglish are getting the worst of it, but Suarez, Carroll and a few others are also taking flak. Great to see!

They'll probably end the league in 7th, which tbf is about their level.

How close teams like Aston Villa/Stoke/Everton etc will get to them and how far behind the top 6 I'm not sure, but I guess they are closer to the chasing pack that the top 6.

It would give me considerable pleasure to see WBA finish above or very close behind them too, I guess you have to say it is just as well Woy never got the backing & support that King Kunny has got because I'm guessing they'd be closer to the top 6 in that case.

KRAP!

Has anyone noticed that Liverpool have some sort of disease at home to promoted sides? I was thinking as far back as 1998 when they lost to Barnsley 1-0 at Anfield and the list of disgraceful results at home to promoted sides is a big one.

Barnsley 1-0
Watford 1-0
Charlton 1-0
Ipswich 1-0
Hull 2-2
Blackpool 2-1
Norwich 0-0
Swansea 0-0

Not to mention some embarrassing cup exits against Reading, Barnsley, and Northampton.

After our victory against Swansea this evening, some folk at RAWK are playing the "the league is fixed" card.

But one sane poster disagreed with them, arguing that Liverpool have not been good enough in recent times:

(At RAWK) If you blame the (Liverpool) players or the manager you're a whopper, a ted, a wool, a jester-hat wearing fanny, or something.

Basically, in order to be awesome on RAWK, you really just need to like everything ever, or not have an opinion on anything at all. That's the only way. If you DO have an opinion then probably just keep it to yourself and be saved the stories about how support used to be and how much of a c*nt you are by older people.

So true.

Scarily accurate.

This is probably an old joke but new to me and I found it quite funny

Dalglish and SAF walks into a bar. Bartender turns round to Dalglish and says: Sorry Kenny, over 18´s only

Liverpool publish idiot-proof alert to remind fans to check Chelsea tickets

Liverpool chiefs appear to have doubts about the intelligence of their club's own supporters after issuing an official reminder to them to take the right tickets to their match at Chelsea.

'Supporters who take incorrect tickets with them will experience difficulty in entering Stamford Bridge. Liverpool Football Club cannot accept liability should supporters take the incorrect tickets with them.' a Liverpool statement read.

Yup, hate this little preferencial treatment he keeps giving to the over priced players he brought you know, hilarious to see Maxi not play whilst Carroll plays, sums it up in one, well in Kenny laaaaa

My Twitter feed's worse tbh. I have quite a few 'Pool fans following me, and there's a decent amount who are convinced there's a conspiracy against them, and Suarez in particular.

I actually find the way Evra is just blanketly blamed for "smearing" Suarez rather disturbing. At the very least most people would agree that Evra believes he was called racist names. The ease at which he's become a hate figure for Liverpool fans, and their unabashed willingness to tubthump about it is actually rather nasty.

Now Swearez has given the finger to Fulham fans - time for the FA to get out the banning stick. Whatever happened to that whole racism claim anyhoo?
