RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

The first yellow was a joke and Assou Ekotto played the ball past him and then ran into him. Not a yellow by any stretch of the imagination.

Players should get booked for every foul they make now? That would've been the softest sending off in history. Laughable for you to say that given you're still crying about Van Persie.

you do get overly excited mate - Evans shouldn't've been booked in the first place - you're getting as bad as that storey idiot

anyway, your turn next - maybe that will put a "shite Spurs" in perspective

On a yellow, and brought down Assou-Ekotto(I think) which was itself a yellow card offence.

And I never said it wasn't a good performance, some people just like to read half a post and ignore the rest to suit their agenda.

Softlad, it was not a yellow card.

His first yellow was harsh, there was nothing in it. Even the Spurs players didn't argue with the ref. I thought that everybody agreed that he didn't deserved a red card apart from the Liverpool fans that is.

It would have been soft, but it would have been mentioned if it was a Spurs player and the score was reversed.

It's bollocks, but quite how Spurs contrived to lose 3-0 against a side whose goalkeeper is a tad shaky, who are playing with 2 centre-halves who have never played with each other before, whilst also playing unproven players in Cleverley and Welbeck is beyond me. United were good tonight, remarkably so given the injuries, but christ almighty Spurs were bad.

Probably had something to do with us playing really well, and showing the strength of our squad.

Jeez. We were without our 2 starting centre-backs and were playing kids in defence and we had a starting average age of about 22 or 23. Do you have any idea how young some of those players were out there tonight? People go on about Arsenal's "kids", well this was a team truly of kids tonight and they actually won, something Arsenal's nippers don't really do.

We batter a top 5 side 3-0 with that young squad, playing some really good football in the meantime, and still the opposition fans can't give us anything.

We're playing you at arguably the worst time possible for us in the last three/four years. It'll go one of two ways for me - either a narrow away win or a heavy-ish home win.

Doubt it. If the score was reversed the focus would be on that not the innocuous challenge.

How can you make that post if you read the last line of the one you yourself quoted? Or maybe the myriad other posts I've made saying United were excellent. It's ridiculous.

I suppose we should bear in mind he's a bummer - players should be red carded if there is the dreaded "contact" unless it's l'arse dishing it out, of course

Just felt like you were trying to make it seem just like Spurs were really shit. We were playing a team of kids and inexperienced players and we battered a top 5 side that 2nd half. How many teams can say they've got a squad capable of doing that?

after Anderson's goal......

c*nt.

Anderson has scored. That is how shit you are Spurs.

What kind of celebration is that
fecking absolute faggotry

hate the face that anderson has . Ugly little fecking c*nt.

What a fat bastard.

you know you are shit when that bag of wank scores.

What the feck was he doing then?
He looked like my nan dancing at a wedding.

finally after 3 seasons and over 130 games for united, maybe now anderson is gonna realise that potential the mancs keep talking about.
Or maybe he'll just go back to being a shit waste of £20m. yep, i'll go with the latter.

they really dont like Anderson do they?

Alastard sure does know his football. His predictions for this season are incredible.

 We're one match in. Wait for 38. Squillaci was MOTM v Sunderland last year and we all expected big things.

Oh and I was very impressed by him tonight - first time I've really bought into the hype. Should have been booked for bringing Bale down though, don't really get how that was a goal kick.

I sometimes wonder why al comes on here after we played.

His sole intention seems to be to draw attention to himself by saying stupid things for the sake of it.

Let's list the stupid things I've said then.

United played very well despite injuries.

Spurs were dire.

Jones was excellent for the first time in a United shirt, looks positive.

Welbeck showed he wasn't just a Sunderland standard player for the first time. At least in the second half.

That's all I've said, but people just want to read my posts as they want to. It's embarrassing to see it's the same offenders every time.

are drugs cheap in Liverpool?

Evans a tad fortunate to be on the pitch?
feck off.

If the Arsenal youngsters would've performed liked that, you would have been absolutely gloating. Pathetic Wumming.
Minus the swearing, this.

Come on alistair

Al is a Scouse fan. No way does he supports Srsenal.

I notice you missed out the really retarded thing you said.

Quick, delete the post, maybe noone will notice.

Just bizarre that your first reaction to the match is to visit this thread and tell us how bad Spurs were and how Evans deserved to be sent off.

Jones first good game?

I don't delete posts, unless they're so poorly spelt/have poor grammar, so you can drag it out if you want.

The fact they are unproven means nothing if they are talented, which they clearly are.

Jones and Evans were solid all night and Spurs created nothing of note in a fairly even game. You don't have to have familiarity, although it does help, if you are good at your job and they obviously are. We created little until the first goal went in but looked good for the entire second half and capitalised on them going with 2 strikers and VDV in midfield.

As soon as the first went in there was sure to be more goals and it was not suprising they came from United going off the strength of the second half showing.

Watch the U21 games this summer. Tonight obviously wasn't a one off. Jones would walk into most defences in the PL.

Agreed with all of that - I always think new CB partnerships are a massive risk, but it worked really well. That'll be the Carling Cup centre-back duo this season I imagine.

You haven't read the Caf after a defeat? Check out the ones after any Chelsea game involving Atkinson.

You've lost the plot if you're comparing Evans tonight with the decisions Atkinson has given against us v Chelsea. That is if you ever had the plot to lose.

There's something called 'bias' afflicting you. I agree the Chelsea things were worse than tonight, but you're deluded if you think it wouldn't have been mentioned.

Using your logic there Alastair on yellow cards, Frimpong would've been sent off before half time.

The thing is, why mention it when you realise it's bullshit?

If you're mentioning just because you think it would be mentioned by one of the 40,000 members on here if the roles were reversed, then you're pretty pathetic, and grasping for negatives.

Dippers hate Anderson because of Lucas, its a case of our Brazillian trumps yours. Both are turning out quite nicely tbf.

 You are something else. The definition of a 'London United Fan', if I may say so. You've lived a whole life of thinking people are against you and you go massively on the defensive whenever anyone doesn't agree with you. Get a grip.
