RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

RAWK... where sanity and logic go to die.

Football fanaticism goes to a new and scary level every time they post.

I wonder if some of them are even capable of hearing a single negative word about their club without either

i) becoming violent and vile
ii) writing a 2000 word essay on the legend of LFC comparing it to the struggles of the slaves in America
iii) starting a major leaflet campaign against the person who spoke the criticism

I, and I'm sure most others on here, saw you as a sensible reasoned scouse fan, up until these last few days, where you've started to make a tit of yourself. You're shredding your legacy at every turn B19.
amazing how perceptions can change so suddenly of longstanding institutions previously deemed untouchable.

unless they've been like that all along, and the facade is only now crumbling

Quite funny that someone mentioned shoplifters there, in United's list of disgraceful crimes. I assume they meant De Gea for eating a doughnut while walking round the shop, realising he had no wallet and going out to his car to get it? A hanging offence if ever there was one. Toilet seats? Well they're fair game aren't they? Who hasn't walked into B&Q and shoved a bog seat up your jumper?

Most of them really rate Valencia, though. That post must be a one-off.

Some of them rate him, not most of them. Futhermore, for some absolutely bizarre reason they started a discussion on whether or not he's better than their own wingers.

A United fans point of view...

Now for the brickbats - Carrick is shite- slow and ponderous on the ball and slow and pnderous without it: Evans is not a lot better imo and really neither him nor Carrick should be playing at this level nor at this club: Evra cannot - and NEVER could - defend feck-all and the sooner Mr Alex Ferguson recognises that fact the better: then I'm always worried about the Brazilian twins at fullback too. De Gea has a long LONG way to go and very big boots to fill before I'm convinced he's the Real Deal.
As has been said, this United side is really not up to the mark of the sides we produced over the last 10 years or so and it's for me an indictment of really how less than top quality this Premiership really is when we can be sitting 2nd at this stage of the season and having played some shite let me tell you - City and Blackburn both of 'em pissing off with the 3 points from our place as evidence of that.

Surely not :wenger:
Considering Evans and Carrick have been 2 of our best players this season

We're shite every season apparently. Yet we're 19 points ahead of the scousers.

Legit question, all club allegiances put aside: Andy@Allerton has got to be the single most batshit insane lunatic in the internet. That or he's a Manc WUM with a long term plan.

On RAWK, he's a poisonous pied piper using his 'passion for Liverpool' as a cover for his depression and doom-mongering. He was generally indulged, considered a bit of a standing joke there until the FA report; then, it was all 'You were right all along, Andy!' - he even posted something similar himself...which says it all.

You have to question what kind of 'Liverpool supporter' is he when he has no time for Gerrard, FSG etc etc and is more concerned with Manchester United than with his own club. No doubt he would laugh a post like this off if he were to read it, but it's the truth regardless - he's an appalling influence on RAWK members and, considering he's not a Liverpudlian, worse than any clichéd scouse caricature.

Round Table Manchester Utd 2-1 Liverpool

It is that jonnowhite character, who is he? doesn't read to me like a United fan wrote that anyway

He's very well spoken, and quite articulate in most matters.

However he does seem to be.. almost anti united. I remember a big post about how Gary Neville ignored someone he knew on a US Tour once. And he's done posts like the above before.

He's an obvious troll, though. There's no way he actually belives what he writes.

Remember that he used to post on here.

I have been here nearly since the beginning of time but I can't for the life of me remeber this guy. What username did he use?

United were piss poor apparently, Liverpool just made us look good. Not at all the simple fact that they are shite and we made them look more shite.

The worrying thing about Andy@Allerton is that he's in his 40s according to his personal profile.

I'd expect that kind of stuff to come from a 17 year old keyboard warrior, not a 'mature' gent in his 40s.

Being mentally incapacitated isn't exclusive to teenagers.

I remember that 'manc' on RAWK when they got rid of Rafa. He said something along the lines of "That man had so much class and dignity" and they lapped it up like someone had dropped a can of Stella outside the offy.

On the contrary it's the so called mature fans who post/write/speak the most insidious and irrational material

Think about it - he's had longer to become more retarded in his thinking. The bitterness has built up more to warp his mind into believing the far-fetched conspiracies which prevail on RAWK and amongst LFC fans

Atleast if he is in his 40's he will have actually seen them when they were good, unlike 90% of the posters on there!

If that's him in the post quoted above he says 'Mr' Alex Ferguson. Surely not the sign of a United supporter.
