then a small group of non-believers started to ask some awkward questions like ''wtf?'' & ''why?'' & so on

He started to simplify the explanations & the debate became more polarized - 2 distinct groups of sceptics & believers. Things got more & more simple, some of them couldn't understand stuff like... 'running into space' is one I remember, he couldn't have tried any harder to explain but the thick twats just weren't having it by now.

Poor old PoP just gradually disintegrated, there was some unpleasantness & he quietly left the site a broken man, :(. He should have some gates really.

Just an added note, Ajax have been in 6 finals and won 4, Seville have been in no finals and won none

In light of Royhendo's "Systems" threads, I thought I would add something that might help people with analyzing what the objectives are that Brendan Rodgers might be looking at during his tenure at Liverpool FC. This thread in the "Systems" series will concern itself with the Principles of Attack and Defence that seek to manipulate the available space in a game of football, and how different teams might get their identity by concentrating on specific principles in their system of play.

Space + Time = Tactics –

A lot of people reduce the game, in several ways, to a simplistic explanation that does neither the game nor its concepts proper justice. Some people like to say that the game is 11v11 and whoever has the better players will win. This is only partially true.

Made up shite...he did one 'analysis' prior to a game against us. He was conivinced that there was no way we they wouldnt beat us. There were graphs, pie charts, stats, percentages, analysis. Unfortunately we beat them 3 nil.

bloody hell, Phase of Play is sorely missed. Nobody has mentioned the distain and belittlement he had for any fellow RAWKER who dared question him. That's one of the main reasons he imploded there, they basically called him out. Became too much even for RAWK
 
It seems there's a latent possibility of PoP in every Scouser who managed to reach high school education, which reciprocaly amplified the force of delusion, and eventually, after joining RAWK, gained ultra velocity, so the new incarnation of PoP can raise its head. It's like serial murderers in movies and TV shows - sooner or later copycats emerge.
