This one's a total fecking idiot but it might be worth giving him a run-out in goal at some stage.

I understand his thought process (embarrassingly). In the slow motion replays I noticed Karius gave up on that shot and pulled his arm back before it was past him too. It doesn’t look great, especially next to those other two goals, but even if he’d left his arm fully stretched, it was still out of his reach.

Yeah, OK. I'm inclined to think he gives up on it because he can't get anywhere near it. First 2D view isn't showing that's he's bang-on right about that, really.

BUT WHY ARE WE DEFENDING THEM ON THE RAWK THREAD !!!??? -   THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS, :D

there a precursor to the Karius 13 pillars dossier if anyone is interested - he was one of the leading advocates who was keen on re-packaging this as world class save - it's from the first Roma game at Anfield

More like a warning from history now, innit?

Still struggling to understand what the referee and UEFA had to do with Karius and his team being generally second best. Only thing I can think of is that he thinks Ramos should have been sent off? Either that or he didn't actually watch the game and made up his own narrative from listening to it on Ukrainian radio.

Even if just heat of the moment of losing and being angry about Ramos (who I hate but should never see red for that) for a grown man to actually suggest “UEFA” as I’d theres some sort of conspiracy at play is truly pathetic and would only come from a Liverpool fan after last nights match

All keepers do that when they know they've been well and truly beaten.

@GifLord you outdid yourself with the 4K quality. The tears really pop vs the color saturation of a crisp OLED screen.

@clarkydaz

I thought it was pretty obvious that Salah was the one that held onto Ramos' arm when watching the replays.

I was chirping at Liverpool fans last night with comments like:

I just can't imagine ever saying "Jordan Henderson, Champions League winner"

Same goes for so many of their players.

Some of these guys (especially the first one) must definitely be from RAWK  :

Referee, UEFA, BASTARRRRDS !!! Conspiracy theories are out again even though i really can't remember any bad decision from the refs in the game  How about you weren't good enough to win the CL? Never their fault i suppose.

But next year will again be their year won't it? This guy must be knowing something about the forthcoming changes at the head of UEFA as he says they will definitely win the Champions League 100% next season and UEFA will still be organising the competition.

I think the guy moving about near the top (behind the man with the invisible telescope) is the same guy that is next to the one with glasses in the Crystanbul gif.

The bald guy next to the star of the show is found on the right side, with a cap on, next to the girl on the right, I think. It might be Moyes tho instead. The guy with the fishing hat is there too? Not sure, they all look alike

I would never watch any game with Liverpool in, but just had to go to youtube to see the game highlights as it sounded so delicious. It was better than I hoped, but the best part is some feedback left by someone. It said:-

'People are saying Liverpool need to sell the goalkeeper. From those 2 clangers, i think Real Madrid brought him before the game.'

Shame on red cafe,

I’ve been waiting for a variety of funny memes, gifs, tweets and stats and have had very little.

Dark day to be a united fan.

Yes, sad day - you should all be ashamed at the scarcity of the variety of funny memes, gifs, tweets and stats .

Come on roll up those sleeves and get working!:D

What's really sad is that they cheer every single team United play with the same ferocity as we cheered Real tonight. Little perspective needed. And, yes, football is tribal as feck, what do you expect us to do -- cheer you on - so you can ejaculate everywhere over how you've won twice as many European Cups as we have? Not a fecking chance!
When we were knocked out by Sevilla, my timeline was full of Liverpool fans posting pictures from their players celebrating and some of them even acted like that was pure of respect towards Montela, that he is an ex - Roma player or something

Last week when we lost the FA Cup final they were saying that christmas came early and that Chelsea gave them such a big present too etc etc etc etc.

What goes round must come round!

Fancy getting to a UCL final and losing in an embarrassing manner like that.. LFC the gift that just keeps on giving

Allez allez allez

Must be great being a Liverpoop-fan. Always believing that they'll achieve something next year. Walking around in some bubble with joy imagining Henderson lifting a trophy of some kind...

We can always win the FA Cup next season. But this was Liverpool's best chance of another UCL because it is likely that Real, Barca and Bayern will be much stronger next season and will deny even the window of opportunity that other teams had of upsetting them this season.

To blow this opportunity because of 2 simple goalkeeping errors is so typical of Liverpool. Each time they lost when the stakes were high, it has only been in a comical fashion and because of one player (Gerrard, Moreno, Karius).

As a City fan, a poster on Bluemoon and a lurker on here, I can safely say I've never seen two threads on our respective forums mirror each other so much :-D

My next door neighbour went to the game and I saw him on Friday morning when he was setting off . He said he was off to watch the boys lift old big ears for the sixth time , I told him he would be watching our boy Ronaldo lifting his 5th . Can`t wait to see him when he is back .

Only @GifLord emerges with credibility after his fine collection of forlorn faces.

But why there isn’t a photoshop Karius section of gifs and pics I’ll never know. I’m thinking stevie g slipping and heading it in, rather than Benzemas foot.

There isn’t another bunch of fans like Liverpool’s anywhere. It’s the fact that they didn’t even conceive of the possibility that they might not win that makes it more hilarious when they fail every single time

It must burn that despite us being the worst we’ve been in almost 30yrs we’ve still just finished 2nd and won three trophies in three seasons
