So let me guess, if we pay the quoted 70m we are mugs but if we don't and he goes to Bayern, we are mugs?

He'd probably be the best striker in our U21s if we bought him, which makes him worth the 3 million in my eyes. Even if he ended up hardly getting a game for us you could move him on the same price, if not more anyway. The club needs 3 strikers in reality, 2 for the main team and 1 for the U21s, it's the best time to take a punt on potential with how overpriced the market for strikers is currently.
He looked pretty good even without the goal. Surprisingly skillful, good holdup play and his passing is crisp.

Loan him out then? The point is him being worth a £3 million punt, if he'd be our best striker 21 and under then it suggests yes. He’s not going to come to play in our reserves, he clearly needs to be playing men’s football every week. He’s over 21 so would take up a spot in the main squad.
I don’t even think he gets in Celtic’s first team.
Also add something about how come our scouts are shit, why can’t we find player like team x, and then we do scout out unknowns complain about how we are going backwardsVery very close...only thing you forgot to mention is how much the club is an 'embarrassment' can't forget that!

It's funny because he's just partnered Sesko up front for Slovenia. You punt on the next Sesko for £3 million. Not someone who is never going to be good enough for us.
Let's see who will look better out of him and Sesko tonight.
...was Pierre Emil Højbjerg. Our best player today.

Where have the Sesko links gone? He looks an incredible talent and should still be on our radar. If you can't see the potential at this point then i'm not sure what to say to you, he looks more ready for the top level over Sesko who was the striker we were looking to get last summer
He signed for RB Leipzig but has stayed at Salzburg for the season, so technically he's already been "sold" and would take some absurd negotiating and fee to even get him out of Leipzig before he's even played for them, I think all links have died because all clubs have just decided well he's transferred from Salzburg to Leipzig this coming summer, there is no chanceWhere have the Sesko links gone? It's funny because he's the second youngest scorer ever for Slovenia, behind Sesko, starting to get his chance internationally. I'd say that's the closest you can get to a bargain Sesko for £3 million If you watched him every week you'd know he's got good potential, he's statistically strong from a chance conversion, pass completion, dribbling completion and goal scoring perspective. What’s funny? The player he came on for in the last five minutes was playing in the championship last season.
Shall we sign Vidosek (goalkeeper) too? He was the Prva Liga keeper of the year.
You realise I watch the Prva Liga every weekend?

It’s what we need. This is like 80% of Haaland’s goals this season.
Lewandowksi was playing for Znicz Pruszkow at 20 years old, Lech Poznan at 21, just because he wasn't scouted by elite teams from an early age doesn't mean he can't do well later on his career. We're talking in purely potential terms and he's showing it, at £3 million it's great value, worst case you sell him for the same price, mid case he ends up being worth £10-20 million, best case £20+ million. But you understand that there are different levels to potential. He does have all those things that you’ve said in the Prva Liga. And he did come on and score a winner against Kazakstan - which was great. But he’s got a completely different ceiling to the likes of Sesko and Hojlund.
Sesko was known about in Slovenia playing under 15 football with the likes of City and the Italian clubs wanting him. He had a great season and I hope he kicks on, but there’s a reason that teams like Celtic and Dinamo are after him.
He's only only scored 9 goals in 32 matches in Serie A. That's 1800+ minutes of football.
I'm not trying to dampen the excitement around him joining us but he isn't the 30+ goal striker we need.
Sure, he has potential but lets not allow the club to convince us he's a solid alternative to Kane or Osimhen.

I watched. I liked. Let’s sign himIt’s what we need. This is like 80% of Haaland’s goals this season.
Saw a poster break that down earlier. It's a lot less than 1800 minutes if I recall.

I hear what you’re saying, however he has scored 16 goals in total this season in 2551 minutes. That’s a goal every 160 minutes. That’s not too bad for a young 20 year old striker. Better than a goal every other game. He's only only scored 9 goals in 32 matches in Serie A. That's 1800+ minutes of football.

Agree, if he played regularly and scored a goal a game at his age, I'd be very happy, and expect him to improve this ratio as he gains experience.I hear what you’re saying, however he has scored 16 goals in total this season in 2551 minutes. We played a big chunk of the season with a striker who scored 0 goals every 90 minutes. I think with the service he would get at Utd he could do well.
However, I do think it’s a huge gamble to go into the season with him as our primary striker. Ideally we should have an experience striker along with him.

Also would love an experienced striker to come in, but realistically, I can't see us signing either of the two most spoken about, i.e. Kane or Osimhen, so looks like we will have to rely on Martial to be the experienced striker for one season, with Rashford and MG in support.
In a year's time, we can bring in both Mbappe and Kane on free transfers!!!!
