Assuming all were/are interested, I think the smart set of moves would have been:
This Summer: Hojlund + Benzema (on a free but give him big wages for 12m, with the promise to let him go to wherever he went)
Next Summer: Bring in Kane on a free.

Yeah sorry, I probably didn't make that clear enough with the 'would have been'... hence the high wages for 12m and then letting him go to said Saudi club.
I envy the big clubs who seem to always know who they want and assertively get their signings done from the get go - Real Madrid, Liverpool thus far. For a club like us with obvious holes in our squad, we seem to be still and always observing/monitoring/dithering/waiting (hopefully not hinging too much on ownership situation)
I’m confident this guy would be an hit if we signed him and at only 20. Can’t go wrong… develop him and his value doubles next season.

Might be one of the worst posts i've seen on this forum fair play, the fact you put it as "victim" is quite frankly disgusting. These Anthony revelations have literally just surfaced, we have no idea what the investigation is behind this or what the club are doing behind the scenes. Nobody is saying anything about Antony because we know nothing yet. Greenwood has pictures and audio plastered all over the internet that alone makes it completely different nevermind everything else that happened before and since.

By all means post where they've said they'd clear the debt. Because I can post where they said they'd be getting a loan to fund the money to purchase the club. They spin it as the debt would go on Ineos by it's not hard to see the club will be used to pay that debt.
So they basically can't win then, it's quite clear you've made your mind up and won't accept any answer they give you, if they told you they'd be clearing the debt you'd call them liars, if they say that any debt they incur will go to INEOS and not United it's a lie and it's just spin. Yes, it really is hard to see how the club will be used to pay any debt because Manchester United makes not even a fraction of the money INEOS makes, and they have said nothing of the sort that the club would be used to pay debts, so you're just making up scenarios in your head - as I said - and are running with them because you're obviously foaming at the mouth about the Qatar/SJ situation. It's sad really.

I think the issue here is although he won’t add any additional debt with the takeover he’s also not planning to clear the £500m of existing debt the club already has.

I’d obviously prefer another striker replacing Martial even if it’s a stop gap considering he’d hopefully actually be available but if we are waiting for Kane I doubt we’d sign two strikers this summer.
