Thinks Di Zerbi is better than Pep.
Don't embarrass yourself, mate. Who's getting emotional? Take a look at your post.

Ah. I see. So, the great @zaafi has set the market for Harry Kane. There’s plenty of reports (and the possibility that Levy would lose him for nothing) that he’ll be sold closer to €100m than £120m. Btw, the reported fee for Hojlund is £64m plus £8m add ons, which is closer to €84m in total, no?

He would cost more when you add up the entire value of the transfer fee, agent fees, signing on fees, and the wages he reportedly wants.
The club quickly moved on from Kane for a very good reason. Accept it instead of pretending you know better
I’ve been around here a long time, mate. In my experience, every member of the Caf is/has been negative. You say so yourself. I’ve been wrong (I was desperate for Sancho ) and I’ve been right (too many to list — that was a joke)I'm far from a "top red" and have been extremely critical about the state of this club and how poorly it's been managed since Ferguson left. But even I'm getting fed up with the level of negativity that plagues these transfer threads. It's just incessant and some people come across as having literally no joy, positivity or optimism from anything the club does
I know you were, but you took the time to type out a made-up conversation where a poster is angry, clearly indicating you're emotionally invested on this topic.
Except that over the four year contract that Kane is demanding he’d cost us in excess of £200m, whereas Hojlund will be less than half that. If that money is better invested elsewhere it might just be the better optionIt’s not the total amount, which is high, it’s the immediate return for a pretty raw 20 year old versus other options. 10-12 goals for a £72m fee vs. 30 goals for a £100m fee (Kane, potentially).
Spot on!The state of this thread ffs.
We have a young, hard working, intelligent striker who’s also a United fan. Guys only 20, so has plenty of room to grow.
Those crying that we didn’t get a £100m+, 30 year old Kane lead a miserable life.
27yr old Keeper, 24yr old MF and a 20yr old CF. Signings don’t need to be ‘Marquee’, but there’s an essence of potentially building for the future here.
I’ve seen this 10 times now
If he struggled to win physical duels against Smalling then the PL is gonna be a rude awakening for him

Exactly, people thrive on being bloody miserable these days. The state of this thread ffs.

Maybe something to do with people getting extremely tired of the relentless moaning and negativity from a certain section of the fans on here.Utter nonsense.
Posters who weren’t / aren’t that keen on the signing haven’t been insulting others, calling them toxic and ranting at them to stfu for having a different opinion.
That has been utterly one way, and to claim otherwise is completely disingenuous.
This is ridiculous.Sink or swim for ten hag this season, we have trusted him with splashing big money on Antony, hojlund and mount, 2 out 3 of them need to deliver this season otherwise major doubts will be raised for eth ability with recruitment

And before you come at me with that "dIfFeRiNg OpInIoN" garbage, that's clearly not what anyone is referring to.
See, the issue is that you view other people’s opinions as worth less than your own. Hence your ‘differing opinions is garbage’ embarrassing remark.
Example, if someone says, ‘shit, I think that’s way too much’, you’re not seeing it as what it is - an opinion that’s different to yours - and instead you’re seeing it, erroneously, as the person purposely going against what you foolishly perceive as an objective truth (which it isn’t).
So rather than asking, ‘why do you think it’s too much?’, or something of the like, or simply ignoring it, you resort to, ‘oMgZ eNtiTled moaNerz’.
It’s a football forum, people will have different opinions than yourself, better to accept that and be happy that Utd have just made a signing that you are, supposedly, happy about!
Stop whinging about other people holding *slightly* different opinions to you on a football player.

You haven't been around much, but thanksI never thought id see the day a post would be so stupid and lacking in knowledge that it would unite the cafe
Congratulations

Yeah, don't you know Smalling is God's gift to defending? He could be playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona, but he chose a midtable Serie A team because he enjoys a challenge. You haven't been around much, but thanks
You wouldn't be human if you weren't at least a little bit worried, especially given our track record on big signings. Shame he can't play today.Good that we've sorted this out.
By lying if I said I wasn't worried about it not working out... But hopefully he can thrive here
