Bournemouth and Atlanta are playing now at 3 o clock.
Hopefully he doesn’t travel back to Italy after the game.

What? Fergie bought plenty of young strikers with potential. Some of them turned out great, others not so much. Solskjær turned out great, so did Wazza and Ruud. Bellion and Manucho not so much. Of course, he liked signing proven strikers as well, RvP and Cole-type signings, but we can't buy one of those this window.
Not when it comes to strikers. Fergie never messed about and only went for proven, Wazza being the exception of course.
With Fergie we hopefully wouldn't be in the mess we are in because we wouldn't have signed some of the players we did recently. Unfortunately he isn't and we did.Fergie would NEVER have spunked 65m quid or it’s equivalent back in the day on this guy at this point in his career. It was exactly the kind of transfer he loathed.
I’m not saying he would or wouldn’t have liked the player, but Hojlund for SAF would’ve absolutely been a side punt - as he should be now.
He not only wouldn’t have signed him, but he probably would’ve publicly declared the price ridiculous knowing Fergie.
Fergie would’ve gone in uber hard for Kane and failing that a Watkins, Toney, Ihanacho, Mitro signing to tide us over.
You guys seriously need to get over “Fergie”
Juventus, Inter, Bayern and Chelsea were all circling the lad at some stage over the last few months. PSG have actually put in a bid for him as reported by Ornstein, not sure what else ya want!Seems like the type of striker a smaller club would sign, not the type of striker Bayern Real Barcelona etc would buy, I thought we were up there with those clubs, but maybe we aren't any more. Hope I'm wrong on both thoughts.
So you're suggesting he would have tried to spend over 100mill and paid ridiculous wages to Kane? Because he wouldn't have.Fergie would NEVER have spunked 65m quid or it’s equivalent back in the day on this guy at this point in his career. It was exactly the kind of transfer he loathed.

What were the wages like under SAF or did they spiral out of control once he left?So you're suggesting he would have tried to spend over 100mill and paid ridiculous wages to Kane? Because he wouldn't have.

Sure, but he would also have said the same things about Kane's price and wage demands. And you won't get top strikers for 60 million these days, the price isn't that ridiculous. It's high, but not ridiculously so.Fergie would NEVER have spunked 65m quid or it’s equivalent back in the day on this guy at this point in his career. It was exactly the kind of transfer he loathed.

United was just a bridge too far for Weghorst that's why he completely bombed here and bolded part is just Revisionist BS and if Hojland ends up having season like Weghorst than I would be really surprised if he is given time and patience to even make it at United .
And please though it's ok not have extreme expectations but it's also important not go completely in opposite direction . Happy medium would be just fine .

Yep, at this point, it is bordering on ridiculous to still be harping on about him. All the respect in the world, but emotionally feel like people need to move on. He's been gone 10 years.
David Bellion, Manucho, Solskjær, Diego Forlan, Dong, Diouf?
Yes but they sign 16 year old forwards from Brazil for 40m pounds as well. Investing in youth isn’t some small club mentality statusWe know how that turned out

Edit Bayern s current number 9 is a teenager they signed from Chelsea!
I’m trying to get excited and I just found his Finland game, looked amazing there, the movement for the first goal especially was amazing and something not seen by a United striker since probably RVP. What a difference to a statue Martial he will be. For those who haven’t seen this highlights yet:
the agreement with @ManUtd for Rasmus Hojlund is approaching in these minutes. The intermediaries are negotiating to file the last details: operation around 70 million euros
Apart from the fact that Ferguson left the club 10 years ago and it doesn't matter what he would've done, this is all speculative nonsense. Those alternative suggestions to Kane are about as average as they come. Iheanacho, really?Fergie would NEVER have spunked 65m quid or it’s equivalent back in the day on this guy at this point in his career. It was exactly the kind of transfer he loathed.
