Rashford considering his future...

But again Sancho does shit all with his passes.

When did Rashford have any ability to build his confidence as a Rw?

Sancho has had the history of playing on the right before.

I have no idea why we intentionally play a player that can only play LW on the right wing instead.

His dribbling maybe shit on both sides but will his dribbling on the RW ever be better than what he is capable of the left?

No way.
In recent seasons Rashford has actually played his best on the right. And this idea he has never played there is wrong because he has, it’s pretty much how he came through the youth ranks.

What we see now is just someone so lost and inside his head that it looks like he has lost all the promise and ability he showed. He like many others in the team looks a worse player than he was when he first stepped in to the team.

I don’t know what happened but all the things many were pointing out needed correcting a few seasons ago for him to become a great player weren’t and were left to become worse. Now not sure there even is a way to correct him and get him playing at the level he could. Maybe a move abroad where he could rebuild himself would be best for him, but at somepoint he needs to see where he himself is going wrong.

Unfortunately for United it seems their recruitment is quite measured and logical despite their recent riches , can't see them going for Rashford at all.
We need them to hire Ed Woodward.

Despite not appearing since January, Mason Greenwood has scored more goals than Rashford thus far this season.

The ridiculous notion that a right footed player being asked to play on the right is some kind of understandably insurmountable obstacle we can’t reasonably expect him to overcome - being normalised as an excuse - tells you everything

Hopefully he considers it real soon, cause it doesn't seem the club wants to wake up.

Anyone who's still backing rashford is not a utd fan, he's either a rashford fan or a fan of one of our rivals.

A player who hasn’t lived up to his hype. I had high hopes for him but he’s clearly not going reach the level that should be required at man United.

He is starting to remind me of a slightly improved version of Danny Welbeck. It’s time to part ways but I can’t see anybody taking him on his current wages.

That is so ignorant and absolutely offensive.

A multi-millionaire footballer kicking a ball around for a living, who is always going to have a positive mindset around money for the rest of his life because money is now not a worry for him, is involved in helping youngsters have a positive mindset around money.

Especially when most young people going into the workforce or already working, are struggling to make ends meet on minimum wage, which is not moving in line with the cost of living. Not to mention not being able to get on the property ladder due to extortionate and unaffordable house prices.

The absolute audacity of this is shocking.

'And then if I want to spend a bit, then I'll spend a bit.'

A bit just happens to be a bit of what he earns, but essentially more than most people will earn in a lifetime.

Does he even have football as his primary interest?

Of course he does. It takes tremendous dedication to get to play for Manchester United.

But he’s a young footballer who’s never had anything but universal praise ever since he came on the scene. First for his initial promising ability and then for his charity work. With that backdrop he simply hasn’t handled the criticism of his performances well .

He hasn’t fallen out of love with the game at all. He’s just sulking because for the first time ever column inches aren’t dedicated to how much he shits rainbows

Pointed this out recently how it becomes more than philanthropy and turns into brand building for companies and got criticism for daring to criticize. But you critics, look at this, millionaire endorses NatWest alongside charitable group to teach children how to manage money. Banks. So well known for their philanthropic charity, makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Onto Rashford the player it's all become too distracting for him and he is probably being used just as a marketing asset now. Don't hate him, I'm sure he's a good lad. It's just he is now obviously utterly distracted by the circus surrounds him. Too much too soon and some of us said this years ago. I don't see how personally abusing hims gonna help. But do man utd the club need to move on? Absolutely

Now in his eighth season 59 prem goals from 201 appearances, imo not good enough for a supposedly top striker.

If he wants to go, then let him go.

Does Rashford have any idea how close he is to doing a Welbeck?

We love the guy and have been very patient with him. However, at some point that patience is going to snap. He can't keep on being mediocre because- hopefully- we're bringing in a manager we've zero patience for player who cannot or will not bring it.

For me it's a 50/50. It wouldn't surprise me if this time next year we're seeing Rashford back at his best. ETH has come in, given him a role and he's flourishing. It also it wouldn't surprise me if this time next year Rashford is on loan at West Ham because he's still not delivering.

Do all the charity work you want. At the end of the day we're a football club who can't afford to carry underperforming players. Of course everyone hopes that Rashford turns out to be the player we think he is but we can't keep going on like this,

Yes he did well to reach wherever he is but he doesn't seem focused on his football atm. No signs of improving.

....... He can't keep on being mediocre .........

If only he could be arsed to reach the dizzy heights of mediocre.
He's been so far below mediocre for a very long time.

He should be sold, but I can't see the club waking up to the fact he's a liability and becoming increasingly unpopular with the fans.
In addition, with the exodus of senior players in a couple of months time, I don't think selling him will be a priority.
The new manager will be lumbered with Rashford and i'll be surprised if he can get a tune out of him.

Have you actually read the article?

Can someone help?

Does anyone know of a Footballer that has ended up turning this around?

I'm just asking because of the amount of hate and dissapointed fingers that are being put at Rashford -

Has any previous footballers got so much dissapointment and hate put towards him and still turn it all around ?

Who exactly?

I just really want to see the Rashford that I saw before his back injury :(

You said his goal return was bad for a "supposedly good striker" (which it is).

I don't watch as much of Man United as you do, does he play as a striker for you?
He did before cavani came, and wasn't very good. Hence the need for Cavani

Yes, though maybe a personal view, I do consider him a forward/striker. He averages around 8 prem goals per season and his assist‘s aren’t great either.

He should be doing better and now think he’s reached his ceiling.

You know him I suppose and you know what he's going through at this time. It never ceases to amaze me the shit written on this site.

Even a player lacking of motivation should be able to put in the effort and run. To trackback at least. His heart is just not in it anymore. Its not only his head.
