When he got injured in his last game for Utd I thought he was done for a while.

Great to see him have such a good world cup. He really is a class act. If he can stay fit, he's vital for Utd in the next few years.
 
Just typical, he comes back from injury just in time for the world cup. Plays the whole tournament. Gets injured.

Hopefully it's just minor but frustrating nonetheless.
 
I dont think you guys should worry about Varane, casters on french TV were saying he kept making gestures at the bench to tell them he was done, he kept going until he ran out of juice but they said he wasnt injured, just totally exhausted. I think he's going to be in very good form after a little needed rest, he's been playing and getting match fit, which he wasnt when he came into the WC.
 
Wasn't he one of the sick players? He probably should've come off before extra time.
 
Don't think he's injured. He basically collapsed just before he was subbed from exhaustion.

It's a shame he was sick for the final. What a player.
 
two weeks off should be just what the doctor ordered for him - hope to see him back soon then
 
I think he had a great tournament. He is a colossus when fit.

He probably needs a good, well deserved rest though.

Taking into consideration that he was rushed to go and not recalling any major mistakes, I think he was great. Not great for his standards, but under the circumstances. Even in the final, I think I read he was sick the previous day.

Leader defender. Absolutely amazing how well he reads the game. And more amazing how Maguire nearly managed to brake him off last year

Will get my vote for player of the season quite handily if he stays fit.
