Children most definitely. Or childish adults. Not usually one to say dissenting opinions should be shut down but it seems to me that thread was started (and is being enjoyed) by children (or adults with the maturity of children).
Of all the intriguing things we can discuss on him, some joker decided having a sack thread is top priority. feck that.
Actually his name is Lars Kornetka.
What kind of source is this, that does not even get his name right.
I think it's pathetic even if it's made in jest. Why can't we just rally around a new manager for once without having to give the idiots a platform to spout their nonsense. There always seems to be this divide on the forum and threads like that only serve to encourage it.
Yeah.Fair enough. I'm not expecting him to coach us to the CL final. I do expect him to completely rip up what the players have been told for the last few years and get them on board with a progressive modern vision, some will fall by the wayside, and others will really develop. I also expect him to mitigate the absolute disaster that is the club hierarchy by holding their hands and showing them what to do, when, and why. And it's interesting that it's mentioned that he'll have influence over contracts at the club that are due to expire next summer as that speaks to a long-term vision. That he will be part of appointing a new manager is a huge deal, and I take it absolutely on face value because he does in no way seem the type to go along with things if there's no substance to it.
But isn't that in particular the whole reason for being on a forum where debate within common interests goes on? There wouldn't be much to debate if there wasn't a divide.
Wow, talk about plucking something out of nowhere. What tells you that Carrick, who was part of two failed management teams, has it whereas McKenna doesn't, and more importantly, Phelan doesn't?Carrick is good enough to stay and learn from Rangnick. It will do him good. But why are Phelan, McKenna and Hartis staying? Ole was sacked, but they remain? That's just not fair. I hope Rangnick cuts them loose. They have no business being involved in the management of a top flight club.
Yeah but you should know better to listen to the guy who made that thread. Total twat.I think it's pathetic even if it's made in jest. ~15 years ago we used to chat about our common interests. Some held different opinions, yeah, that's what prompts discussion and dialogue. But isn't that in particular the whole reason for being on a forum where debate within common interests goes on? There wouldn't be much to debate if there wasn't a divide.
Awful rewarding of failure, these lot should be out along with Ole, how is it he's in the mud and these lot get to continue on with their jobs like nothing happened, coaches under 2 sacked managers... typical of this club
Exactly. I mean what possible reason would you have for making a negative thread before the guy has even landed in Manchester.
To be funny? Except it’s not. All it does is open the door for and encourage negative shite from the very moment he takes over.
This creates a divide from the start resulting in people overtly backing their argument and entrenching themselves on one side or the other from the off.

Seen the clock, it does my head in.I guess so mate I just despise that kind of attitude on here before a ball has been kicked. It would be nice to have some positivity and togetherness for once. I've seen the morons even have a countdown clock on when he's going to leave in that thread ffs.
I could imagine he has seen worse. He's now seeking psychological treatment
Indeed, thanks for pointing that outHis surname sounds like a font.
We are relegated. What happens if he does worse than Solskjaer?
Not sure DDG would appreciate yet another goalkeeping coach, especially as he seems to have got some of his magic back.Carrick is good enough to stay and learn from Rangnick. It will do him good. Has he said what dramatic changes he wants to make, or is this wishing?Yeah I think it will be a while before things get much better tbh. A lot of people comparing the situation to Tuchel but Chelsea played much more cohesive stuff under Lampard.
A lot of people are expecting big things but given the dramatic changes he wants to make it may get pretty ugly for a while. We'll be trying things our players just aren't accustomed too. Injuries could be an issue if we up the intensity in training, especially over the winter period with fixtures coming so quickly. I do expect him to solidify the team and improve defensively but that's just how bad we were under Ole.
I don't really care about the results this season so long as there's obvious progress being made in terms of the identity of the team. It's a free hit for a few months. By mid-February/March time you'd hope to see a coherent plan that the players are following effectively.

No wonder the Glazers sanctioned it, he's a freebie.
Yes there is. But you’ll get used to it here. Literally EVERYTHING has a reason to moan or shit on. Even Ten Hag would get a sack watch thread. It’s tiring. But isn't that in particular the whole reason for being on a forum where debate within common interests goes on? There wouldn't be much to debate if there wasn't a divide.
Please tell me you're joking. And yet we played better the last two games than we have done all season, maybe it was Ole giving the instructions and the coaches just followed what they were told?
Major disrespect to Phelan too, an assistant manager who has won multiple trophies at Man Utd, as the assistant manager.

There are no reasons for Phelan to stay. He hasn't been coaching and has had a weird assistant manager role under Ole. He is of no use to Rangnick. As for Carrick and McKenna, if they are obedient movers of cones and capable of learning, they can stay but they should have zero say in tactics or team selectionIf the coaching staff are adaptable and capable of learning what Rangnick wants to bring in and implementing it, I see no issue with them staying on. Rangnick will be able to assess that himself, and if the club genuinely trust him to implement important changes, then let him do it.
You spent half the game yesterday shitting on it so was expecting you to pipe up.Please tell me you're joking.
We were outplayer in CL and Chelsea gave us an ass-whooping and should have won comfortably. Surely you're not happy with the ultra negative tactics?
Has he said what dramatic changes he wants to make, or is this wishing?
Would you have said the same about MP under SAF?Awful rewarding of failure, these lot should be out along with Ole, how is it he's in the mud and these lot get to continue on with their jobs like nothing happened, coaches under 2 sacked managers... typical of this club
No idea why people are complaining that Carrick, Phelan etc are staying on.
Ralfie will assess them and their futures will depend on him and whoever is brought on as permanent manager. There's no reason to rush anything just for the sake of sacking them.
When you try that hard, it's just not funny.
