They. Are. Scared.
Our own players? They should be.
They. Are. Scared.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but Ten Hag philosophy is that of also intense pressing. And there are not really any German perspective coaches at the moment. Klopp is at Liveprool, Tuchel at Chelsea and Nagelsmann at Bayern. No other coach has United-tier credentials to take over the job. Ten Hag fits the philosophy of gegenpressing as much as anybody. He's also Dutch, so it's close enough ; )
Genuinely keen to see if he can make some of our mediocre players punch above their weight class.
For sure. When he mentions the intensity of winning the ball back and just the desire in general it had me thinking of players who may not have been the best technically but were just giving it their all for the club. Players like Rafael, Park Ji Sung, Herrera, Rojo... those types. I am sure if they were still here he would make them look better than what they were... or are.6 minutes of him talking got me believing again!

This.I like this. We'll have actual consultancy from an experienced football person, rather than bankers and amateur ex players making football decisions.
Napalm death football, come out, bludgeon the opposition into mush for 32 seconds and feck off to the barHeavy Metal football he said
I would prefer death metal football but it’s a begin
Well in, @Samid
This club loves extremes. We went frons :hugs: and :smiles: to a tactical genius
True False moron in the mud
20 seconds in and he's already more interesting than Ole.

He desires desire from the players and we're gonna fecking win the CL this season I hope
I am just interested how he will get CR7 to work hard in gegenpressing... That will be fun...
Rag Ragnick
Perfectly summed up. Especially the 5 state of play in a match. United lacked 4 of them. We suck at set pieces, what to do when being pressed , breaking defensive low blocks and our defensive transition is all over the placeThis is extremely interesting. He mentions his coaching style, and he also mentions the focus he has during training and playing style. The issues he mention related directly to us. The transition from attack to defence, the focus on forward attacking football, how to deal with pressing teams, and also the focus on set pieces.
This is the man we need right now.
He doesn't need to. He will discipline the rest of the team in such a way that will allow ronaldo to thrive and be at the center of each goal. You dont need 10 outfield players running around all pressing at the same time. You need a group, within the area, to press and he has said that this applies to any place on the pitch.I am just interested how he will get CR7 to work hard in gegenpressing... That will be fun...
So Rangnick has pulled out because the leeches refuse to give him any kind of power whatsoever and new coaching staff.
I know where this shit is going. Whoever thinks that things will change for the better are clueless.
He told the board that he will be more than happy to accept the job if they show transparency and an understanding to his way of working. He also didnt want to be here for a temporary position, and really wanted to develop the club to get it back to where it was. He decided that to do this he would be best suited in a 'consultancy' type role, as opposed to permanent manager.
