Raiola: "I can say that it's over for Pogba at United"

One thing ivd learned about Jose's time with us is he was right about pogba.

Very surprised Scholes said Pogba is actually a good guy. Thought he would have been fuming

Don’t know what point Rio was trying to make. Was he trying to say the club should respond to the comments by Pogba’s agent by offering him a new contract?

He didn’t get it out well but I think he was trying to say the club should either tie him down or sell him. None of the back and forth in the media, just nip it in the bud.

Was good to see Scholes with a level head about how it would not affect the players in the dressing room. People get way too caught up in this stuff.

Yeah I'm annoyed he's on the bench as well. I'd prefer not to see him involved in any capacity for us again.

I agree with Scholes when he says he hopes the likes of Maguire is in his ear, telling him to have his agent shut up or get rid.

I doubt Pogba gives a toss what Harry Maguire, which is a problem with him being our captain.

How do you shut up Raiola though? He'll constantly talk to the media, he's looking for big paydays before his % gets capped by FIFA.

The best way of dealing with him is by not working with him, dont have any of the players he represents at your club.

Rio stance is strange, Scholes' was right, its up to Pogba to be telling Raiola to shut up, not the club thats paying him, we expect Pogba to stay professional.

Strange stance from Rio today but Scholes was spot on

Scholesy was right. If memory recalls when the Rooney incident happened Scholes 'did' Rooney on the training pitch the next day....

I think Rio was trying to make a wider point that Woodward et al. Should be able to control situations and the public narrative much better than they do.

Couldn't give two shits. I'd be surprised if there is even a single utd fan that wants pogna to stick around.

I haven't seen one so far.

Everything Mino says, Pogba says. How difficult is that to understand? Raiola is an employee of Pogba that he pays millions. Our supporters need to stop being this delusional. That Pogba comes out with comments like these the day before a very important game for the club is literally one of the most unprofessional things he can do. No respect for his fellow players, management, club and supporters.
So hes never said anything publicly that wasnt directly said by the player? Nonesense, hes infamous for being a big mouth. Never said I dont think he wants to move or that I didnt want him to, just papers make a lot if shit off and Mino will talk shit to get more money for himself and his player, it's probably irrelevant if it's true, just serves his purpose.

Like I say, he probably wants to leave, but Mino saying it publicly doesn't really convince me either way.

Pogba played well, as i said, even if you want to leave you can still perform your job to your best abilities. Should've started the game...

Turns out, a manager who has won it all and worked with hundreds of players, gets teams and players onside to win, knows better than social media obsessed darlings.

You can’t believe that? That was orchestrated between them for maximum effect.

Pogba isn’t to blame though, it’s his agent saying these things! It’s totally out of his hands!

I disagree. At the very least Pogba has full control over his response to this. Why is it that you never hear agents come out with this crap regarding Rashford, Martial or Greenwood? I would be pretty confident Pogbas agent is using as much slack as Pogba offers him.

As far as I care Pogba can be on his merry way. We need to look at other more stable talent because where Pogba goes there always seems to be a circus and SAF saw right through it years ago.

Fans specially

Whatever the outcome can we at least never ever again buy a Raiola player? And if a player at United hires Raiola he/she should be benched.

I was being sarcastic, I actually totally agree with you.

Shame we don’t hold any cards here. I’d love to do what other clubs do to us when buying a player.

“Hey, you paid 80m for Higuain, it’s your own fault. Cough up.”

Isn't this obvious though? The agent works on behalf of his player. If Pogba didn't want Raiola acting this way, he wouldn't be.
That's not news. News is that Pogba seems to have told Raiola find a club immediately or I no longer need your services

Juventus. £50m plus a player. Their squad is bloated. I’d take a straight swap for Dybala but he didn’t want to come to us before so personally I’d rather not unless he was genuinely committed.

Makes sense. Of course, the personal fan club of the player would never accept such a possibility.

Would have thought this was a given though? Mino works for Pogba, he's not just randomly running his mouth about one of his players. Pogba 100% wants out.

Mino is known as the agent who can get any player out of any club, so far he's been pretty poor for Pogba given he's reportedly been looking to leave for seemingly an eternity.

As others are saying why wouldn't this be true, it's obvious he's agitating for a move himself, otherwise he'd have come out and said otherwise.

Can't help but find it funny though. Even Mino can't peddle his client anymore, can't say he's the best midfielder in the world. He's not even second best mid in Manchester now, Bruno and KDB both pip him.

Imagine Pogba sacking Mino now though, I imagine he's demanding a payrise, having been told by everyone around him how special and wonderful he is. Mino will be going to Juve/Madrid etc, and he'll be lucky to get offered half of Pogba's current salary. The only chance he even keeps the same wage is a PSG, and I have no idea whether that is desirable for him.

Paul's gotta bite the bullet and accept he's not as special as thinks he is, accept that he'll be taking a pay cut to leave us. Then Raiola might actually have a chance of finding him a new club.
