Rafik Zekhnini

He looked really good last night. I had the same reaction as Hummels when I heard that he's 17.

Anybody care to tell us what kind of player he is, attributes and potentially what he could become?

Looks very impressive.Does not turn 18 until next January.

Doubt we'll sign him this window though.

I do watch a bit of domestic football but I hadn't seen much of him before yesterday. Only 4 appearances in the league (all within the last 5-6 weeks) but he has scored 2 goals:

Looks quick and good technically, out-and-out winger which is a dying art these days. I'd give it a few months before comparing him to Ødegaard though, as of yet he's nowhere near.

Another of these potential superstars that may or may not amount to anything. Unusual to see an out and out winger. In years gone by maybe he'd have been worth taking a chance but we don't play that way anymore.

I never encountered him in Football Manager, so he is probably meh in term of potential.

So if we signed Pedro and we had Depay and him on the wings...you would still have that view? Perhaps thats exactly where LVG is bringing us....

But Memphis isn't an out and out winger? LVG doesn't want wingers who keep their boots on the sidelines. He wants them to cut inside more often than not. LVG has his way of playing but no I don't think it's to have out and out wingers.

His chant should be to the tune and in the octave of "Karim Reki-kee, Karim Rekik..".

Looks too much like the lovechild of Stewart Downing and Angel Di Maria for me to take him seriously.

Well, he has a nose the size of Zlatan's, so he can't be too bad.

Seemed pretty rapid against Dortmund, Castro had a torrid time.
