i thought "retard" was a bit unnecessary. but then i expect nothing less from the remi moses character.

It's probably Petri Pasanen, the young Ajax cb. Makes sense cuz Pool need another defender and he's Finnish...

;)

ajax´s financial problems ... <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

they play in the cl in case you´ve forgotten

i think it´s safe to say vdv won´t join the scouse scum if he´s had a word with jari ..

the notion of ajax selling van der vaat is absurd as the notion of liverpool selling gerrard.

and that means you can't have any financial problems?

Ajax have financial problems and have done since they moved to their new stadium.

V/d Vaart will most probably be sold within the next 3 seasons. However, he's half spanish and as already stated he wants to go to Spain when he eventuly moves from Ajax.

Ajax have to sell their best players because they can't afford the large salaries as paid in the PL or serie A for example.

Now we have sorted that out can we close this feckin topic?

Please buy him. He's the only resonable player Ajakkes has.
And yes he was injured, but he's ready to play again.
I think his physical condition is not very good, cause the medical staff of Ajakkes made some mistakes in judging his injuries.
RVN also had a problem with his knee ( ) but he came back stronger. I think Van der Vaart is only getting weaker.

I have Talksport Radio on with their Monday night European football show. The topic of Van der Vaart came up and their Spanish football expert says that his next club will probably be Barcelona.

Barcelona, just like the Dippers said.

They sure know their onions them dippers.

Apparently his grandfather is from Catalonia which would explain why he'd be interested in playing for Barcelona.

we all make some terrible mistakes during are life. can't hold that against him for too long :) .

by the way, he scored again in the champions league last night, in Ajax' 2-1 defeat against Inter.

He scored a perfectly legal goal too, that was disallowed in the first half.

Fluke, his shot wasn't good it was the deflection that did it.

He did tap in one but was wrongly ruled offside.

Looked good though, particularly having just got back from an injury as you wouldn't expect him to pick up where he left off.

Well, actually...he was a Romário supporter and Romário just happened to play at PSV that time, so...

So we've got to sign Romário first? Bit old ain't he? ;)

Well Man Utd. could use an extra forward though... ;)

And PSV Rulezz: You're right, psv rulez big time....
In going out in the 1st round of the Champions League that is... <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

AJAX comes back in the CL and they immediately do what psv couldn't do al those times, qualify for the 2nd round
<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

About van der Vaart: I'm afraid he won't be to long in Holland. He said last week that he wanted to stay at AJAX for least 2 years. As far as I'm concerned that means that next year he still plays for AJAX. If he leaves he'll most likely go to Spain. As said his mother is Spanish, and he really wants to play there. Then he'll go to Barcelona(where all Dutch players go), or Real Madrid will use their money to keep him away from Barca.....

Just asking: Who's at the top of the Dutch League???

And Ajaks just had the luck they had opponents who weren't that good.
Just compare: Arsenal, Dortmund, Auxerre &gt;&lt; Inter, Rosenborg, Lyon.
And PSV played awfully bad in the CL, but in May we will be celebrating our championship!

Romario by the way is still not bad... He played at the all-star game at PSV in August and scored a really nice goal!

what would psv be without phillips? hell, they even have phillips in their name ...

Yeah, and what's wrong with that?
We even sing a song which goes something like this (translated...):

We make lamps in our fabrics,
Radio's, Televisions and other electricity.
And if you don't believe just have a look
And we don't go away with our lamps.

well, i think it´s sad when a club is financed by a company and when the club depends on the company. like leverkusen, parma, psv ..

The club was founded because of that company...
PSV = Philips
And Philips became also famous in some parts of the world because of PSV.
And about depending on the companies money... I think PSV doesn't get that much more money from Philips than any other team gets from it's sponsor...

But of course our true supporter is Frits Philips who is almost 100 years old (I think he's 96 or something like that)

PSV Rulezzz,

How is Kezman playing for you guys? He's a player I really rate. Haven't seen him play this season though, so I was wondering.

Kezman had a fabulous first year with a great goal against you guys.
But last year he didn't get much confidence from our former trainer Eric Gerets. Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink (our other striker, completely different type of player) scored 22 goals.
This year he gets all the confidence he can wish for and he scored 13 goals so far in 11 games and is national topscoarer.
But he misses an awful lot of chances.
At European level it's dramatic.
He works awfully hard and gives everything, but he doesn't get the ball into the goal (a little problem for a striker, I think)

Keza is really fast, works hard and is a nice guy, but at the moment, just like many other players it's not working as it should be...
I think he's not (yet) good enough for another club. I think even at PSV the should think of giving Vennegoor of Hesselink the oppurtunity to show he's better...

Thanks. He's still young so he can hopefully work on his weaknesses.

That said, I'd still take 13 goals in 11 games!

I've only seen Vennegoor of Hesselink a couple of times and wasn't too impressed. What are his strengths/weaknesses?

Vennegoor of Hesselink is a young Dutch striker with a great mentality. He's very kind and friendly and maybe that's a weakness of him...
He's tall and strong, so he's great at the ball. But sometimes he holds on to the defender and gets a fault against him.
He's not complaining about being on the bench while he was topscoarer last year. I'm sure he's going to be back. He's also still young.

Vennegoor of Hesselink <hr></blockquote>

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

What Lord Vennegoor of Hesselink? Why doesnt he stick to Polo?

No he always tells the story about 2 families of farmers who lived in one house. Family Vennegoor and family Hesselink. And suddenly they didn't know their name anymore so they called themselves Vennegoor of (=or) Hesselink

From what I've seen, that might be true. He's got the football intelligence rarely seen in boys of 18-19, he's got the scoring ability of Ballack, creates for himself as well for teammates, and has an unbelievable amount of skill... sometimes it seems like he beats 2-3 players at will...</strong><hr></blockquote>

What about Andy van der Meyde? Isn't he quite a talent as well?
