Does anyone know why Monaco sold Falcao?

Because Falcao wanted out, and they're fecked for FFP.
He has wanted out for a long time, I believe. Pretty much straight after he signed for them.
He may have wanted to leave and Monaco's owner just went through a divorce and lost a load of money.
Someone on the Caf was saying earlier that Monaco's owner has lost some money and wants to give up the project. It's also been said the reason we're loaning Falcao is because FFP is calculated over a 3 year period, so they're delaying the fee until next now they've sold James.
Has the "project" ended already at Monaco?
FFP is killing them. Their owner got divorced and he lost over £3 billion as a result. There's no way they could afford to keep Falcao and fall in line with FFP. Moutinho was being offered around to clubs today too apparently.
