Mendes making a huge chunk off that 65m (which no other club would pay) and 9m a year in salary. I can imagine Falcao saying bye to CL football for a year. Remember he played in front of a 6-7 thousand crowd at Monaco so playing at OT would definitely give him the chills again.
It's a loan deal.

So he's basically RVP's replacement while he's out needing an operation. What happens when RVP comes back? There's no way to fit Rooney, RVP and Falcao into one team, especially with Mata and Di Maria in there as well.
Well, that's why a loan deal is perfect, right?

So are we paying anything? My cock doesn't know what to feel here

All of a sudden it makes sense. Probably around €10m - €15m for a loan, we send van Persie to have his surgery and replace him with a world class striker and next year when van Persie is 32 we could replace him altogether with Falcao buying him outright for €30m - €35m. This is a very good deal.

A big feck off to City - you can't keep up with FFP? We sign your target. feck off to Juve too - don't want to give us Vidal? Look, we sign your target BECAUSE WE CAN.

You'd hope that we a) have an option to buy and b) it's for something + this loan fee = 60 million Euros...

Signing 2 of La Liga's previous best players recently.

Also, what the hell - why would Monaco agree to a loan?
get his massive wages off their plate

Plus, it may be a loan with an agreement to buy - for massive money next year.

Why is everyone so certain that RvP needs surgery based on one obscure report in the Sunday people by a nothing journo? No other paper has reported it since.

Mabe welbeck and hernandez are on the way out.

We should also remember Arsenal are probably our main rivals for the top four. We've just pinched a signing that would almost certainly get them that spot. Worth £20m to keep Arsenal reliant on Giroud?

So, can someone explain why the hell Monaco are happy to loan out the best #9 in the world?

The owner just got rinsed in a divorce, I don't think he's wanting to sustain them anymore. Plus Falcao is their highest earner.

Probably a loan for big money with option to buy. Am i right on that?

Good stuff.
He'll score goals. His movement is superb, and he actually attacks the ball, which none of ours really do. The strikers have definitely contributed to the slow play and lack of chances, and he'll go some way towards fixing that.

I refuse to believe we are spending a load of cash on 2 world class attackers and then not buy a world class central midfielder to make sure those two see any of the ball!

Probably a loan because we can't afford to pay that much for now and he doesn't want to tie himself down here in case we don't get back into the Champions League. Still Brilliant though! To the Vidal thread!
