We won the league because of the goals RvP scored. That was with Carrick/Cleverly/Anderson in midfield. We now have Carrick/Mata/Di Maria/Herrera... Bring in Falcao, he has an RvP impact. BAM league #21.

Rooney doesn't appear to have the stamina to play midfield anymore, maybe he could do the Scholes role of staying in the centre circle and spraying passes around but I don't think he could do much else.
I don't think I've seen Rooney dribble past a player in several years.
