Despite the nature of the obscene chants I think this story says much more about your average football hooligan vermin, than any wider geopolitical issues. That worthless politcians like Joe Biden and David Lammy have stuck their oar in only speaks to their craven stupidity.

Felt some joy watching the locals of Amsterdam kicking lumps out of these racist, genocide supporting twats

Over the last 2-3 years, Israel and its extremist following have been given licence to act without regard for human life or concern of retaliation.

The other night they fecked about and found out, long may this justice continue.

The Haifa fans managed to piss off a lot more than just a few Muslims or lefties, just look at their behaviour during the minute's silence at the game there. They are filthy thugs.
 
Can you have a tear up with a group of football fans from Israel without it being an antisemitic attack? Like, hypothetically, if they were given it the bigun at West 'am and the ICF retaliated, resulting in a massive punch up. Would that be anti semitic?
 
Karma is a bitch. Delighted they got a taste of their own medicine I wish the Dutch had gone a lot harder on them tbh and the mainstream media had the balls to call them out for what they really are. Hopefully they get the same or worse in every European city that they to try to incite racism and fear in before UEFA kick them out and hopefully for good.

It’s seemingly perfectly ok to joyfully steal and bomb peoples land and sing about killing women and children if you’re white and america likes you. If that makes anyone angry to the point of doing anything about it or just answering back to them on any level then according to mainstream media you are anti Semitic. It’s a joke at this stage.

According to the media it definitely would be. I think that's the point.

If you only read the media coverage of this the perception is that, for no reason at all, a bunch of anti semetic attacks happened in Amsterdam.

Right now I saw a news report from Sky News that indicated the vile behavior of the Israeli fans (vile chants, disrupting the minute of silence for Valencia victims, tearing up Palestinian flags, attacking locals, etc...), but even then they make it sound like they were the victim by emphasizing the comments of Dutch PM and other officials crying anti semitism

Where I live, every article I’ve seen basically reads “innocent Israeli fans attacked by thugs in Amsterdam”.
 
What is amazing is that the ready made narrative dished out immediately after has already been disproved. This will wake even more people up to the fact that the mainstream media is almost exclusively pro-zionist and every politician in a position of significant power (in the West).

I'm impressed that one or two mainstream outlets actually reported on their vile behaviour. I think it's less about them being happy to murder children and probably more to do with disrespecting a minute silence in honour of perished Europeans.

Weenink, who has demonstrated at pro-Palestine events, said she was warned not to go out with a keffiyeh on that evening. She did not see the events after the match but had seen Israeli football fans before it. “I saw the Israeli fans walking here before the match – I found it very threatening,” she said.

Even the Guardian articles talk 99% about attacks on Israelis and antisemitism. To ignore that is willful ignorance.

Do you really think all the Macabi fans who were attacked were involved in those chants? Isn’t it more likely that some of their fans are total scumbags but many aren’t? Like most football fans.

With a similar proportion of local scumbags dealing out unprovoked violence vs those involved in justifiable retaliation against scumbag Israelis?

The OP (and thread title) is as biased as any of the mainstream media reporting. That can happen when you spend hours every day immersed in an echo chamber on Musk’s hellsite.

Mind you there were also violent unprovoked attacks on peacefull fans and passersby where threateningly asked whether they were Jewish.

So it's not entirely untrue. We also should not pretend there was no antisemetism involved or that none exists over here.

Those three paragraphs I posted all came from the same Guardian article. It would have to be about 50 pages long for them to represent only 1% of the coverage (it isn’t) And the article makes it clear that some Maccabi fans started the violence when they tore down a Palestine flag.

It’s incredibly naive to pretend that there wasn’t an antisemitic element to this violence. As naive as pretending that all of the Maccabi fans were innocent victims.

Not really. She's also very progressive. I think it's a bit of a reaction for the flack she's getting for allowing a Pro-Gaza protest on matchday. Which, honestly, was a very dumb decision. And to be fair, there were definitely also unprovoked attacks on none hooligans and even random people who were suspected of being jewish. This incident just reflects on the endless horror in Gaza. It's both groups laying 100% of the blame on the other.

There were both violent hooligans who got what they deserved as well as antisemitic attacks.
