Race for top 4 | Finito.

Klopp's played and got to the final of Europa in his very first season, just as Ten Hag did in his first season with y... Oh. Anyway Klopp will do what he did that time, play the kids until the very latter stages.
Liverpool fans starting the copium with Europa league

Jesus I've never put anyone on ignore on here no matter how annoying they've been, but I think I'll make the exception for you.

Why the mods haven't banned you yet for constant wumming I just don't know.
Mods want to create narrative of inclusion for long time opposition fan. :wenger:

Ahead of the curve. VAR teams surely learnt a lot from our mods.

Here comes the doom monger.

At least that Spurs win against City counts for nothing luckily.
You've tried that joke about 10 times now. Liverpool winning tonight was a good result for us by your logic.

Those that were arrogantly saying that Liverpool can't possibly win multiple games in a row a few games back (because it was only one game against Leeds) are pretty quiet. https://www.redcafe.net/threads/race-for-top-4.473820/page-67

Huge game tomorrow night. Anything less than 2 points from the next 2 and we're in trouble.
Except we're not quiet are we ya nutter? Your one of the main ones I'm referring to in my other post. We're going to be fine for top 4 ffs.

What happens when Newcastle play Brighton. Do they get 6 points each for playing?
Newcastle playing Arsenal as well. Brighton too. Brighton against City.

Wonder if the Newcastle fans are wetting the bed too.
I'll be disappointed if we finish lower than third.

This. The treachery of upcoming opponents for the two clubs apart from Liverpool competing for other top four spot should not be underestimated.

If we can take care of Brighton tomorrow bedwetters can change their diapers.

I hardly knew the man, bye sep. :(

Anyway back to the post that broke him. I made three key points with a little bit (not a lot) of wumming:

1. Klopp has seen the Europa in his first season and got to the final
2. ETH didn't get to the final
3. We play kids in the Europa usually

I'm sure my list was offensive to the normally stoic sep and he "would never ban anyone" but went out on that.

Liverpool beat Fulham shocker

Isn't this Klopp's 8th season as arrived in October 2015.

United on course to finish ahead of Liverpool for the 4th time in the last 8 seasons. In the that time frame Liverpool was meant to have their greatest team since the 80s while United in deep transition and total mess off the field and have gone through a number of managers in those 8 seasons.
That city and Liverpool rivalry though…

Up there with the great premier league battles, that one. Never mind the bit in bold, that’s not important.

Don’t forget that every Liverpool player during that period was better than the United players who did doubles, trebles, 3 titles in a row. Also the City-Liverpool rivalry of 5 league titles to 1 is the greatest of all time.

I would say Klopp's biggest achievement is that he single handedly turned Manchester blue. True blue. Never seen such united support in Manchester's history and I've been around a while.

Ouch.
Not that he'll reply to this.

Ah yes best players in every position and none of past Man United serial winners would be fit to lace their boots so we have been told.

Last ten years

Premier league titles won
Man United 1
Liverpool 1

Some more food for thought in a period that saw Liverpool's greatest team since the 80s

Of all the men to run back opinions in this thread it’s you. But no, somehow you’re giving out instead.
Hey buddy, you never did link your point about many thinking Brighton would finish above us next season. It’s almost like you make up bullshit in a regular basis.
Found that link yet since you’re so fond of posting links now?

Proper wum that one.

Of a 10 year old.

I reckon we will lose tomorrow; and this place will lose their collective minds and proclaim Liverpool will beat us to it, and then ultimately we will go on and get top four pretty comfortably.

Absolutely this is what will happen.

No idea what you are talking about. As usual

If you're referring to a post where I said there's a chance Brighton are favourites to finish above us next season if we don't have a good transfer window. Yes I stand by it.

Still think we're bookies favourites tomorrow by the way? (Another attempt to suggest I don't know what I'm talking about where you were massively wrong.)

This.

This place loses their minds even when we win.

Poster above being the prime example.

Liverpool will win all the fixtures is as just as annoying.
What’s cute is seeing Liverpool win all their fixtures and their fans having rejuvenated hope to still end up with the Europa league. A lot more fun than just seeing them be shit all season. It’s the hope that’ll kill them.

Winning their last 9 games and finishing 5th is very Liverpool. Similar to the 97 points 2nd place finish.

Well said!

I mean, from my point of view if Liverpool win their last 11 games on the bounce or whatever they damn well deserve 4th place more than we do. I don't think Fergie ever had a run like that, and he's the best ever.

Yes, in the end this is all what will be remembered in the history pages.

Ey? They can’t win more than 9 games in a row. Nothing unique.

Yeah but every time we'd lose that way we would come back season unlike previous ones.

Agreed, and i understand your point. But for a supposedly big team, we do get whacked quite regularly. Will heave a sigh of relief if we get this over the line.

It's like your car says that you have 40 kms worth of fuel left in the tank and your house is 25 kms away, you just know that you cannot trust your car completely :nervous:

ten Hag has already won a trophy in his first season, something klopp failed to do in his. Ten Hag is also on course to get champions league football in his first season, something klopp again failed to do in his.

We need 9 points from 6 games Brighton (A), West Ham (A), Wolves (H), Bournemouth (A), Chelsea (H) and Fulham (H).

I can see wins against Chelsea, Fulham, Wolves and Bournemouth.. draw against West Ham and a loss against Brighton. More than enough to get us top 4.

Edit: Bar the first two games of the season we’ve bounced back with a win after every loss this season.. must say that alone fills me with confidence.

Yeah it’s hard to see us not getting enough points but I won’t settle until it’s mathematically certain. Liverpool have had every stroke of luck possible lately and my fear is that will continue and rub onto the teams we are facing. Chelsea don’t look like the could beat a random 11 from the RedCafe but watch them turn up to old Trafford and turn into prime Mourinho 2005 Chelsea for 1 game only.

Fulham lost three in a row and are now shit. That helps us for feck sake

Will Mitrovic be back for the final game of the season against us? It would be quite the story if he got a last minute equaliser to stop us getting top 4. He’d become a Demba Ba type cult hero for the scousers
