Liverpool will not win all of their games
Exactly, if people are afraid of Brighton and Villa, imagine them in them Champions League. If we bottle it from here, I wouldn't even want to be in it. Personally, I think we'll get it easily.
Out of interesting who do you see them slipping up against?Liverpool will not win all of their games
Innit so paranoid7 points and a match extra to play and you guys are really scared top 4 is not in the bag and that Liverpool could challenge that?

Not really hovering about. The gap between 4th and 5th is rather large. So many teams hovering about with a chance. Us, Newcastle, Spurs, Liverpool, Villa and Brighton.
Not saying it's a done deal. Stranger things have happened in footy but al little more confidence in your team would be well deserved.Welcome to Pessimistcaf
Yup, Ajax supporters can be drama queens but the Caf really takes the cake.Innit so paranoid
We've struggled against wolves recently. They park the bus and it's a proper grind fest.Wolves are absolutely hapless.
Makes me believe we'll batter them at home.
its between pool and Brighton for 5th imo. Spuds will finish 7thSo many teams hovering about with a chance. Us, Newcastle, Spurs, Liverpool, Villa and Brighton.
You saw Brighton playing against them. When United do, after playing the most number of matches, injuries and off form players all over the pitch, a 1-0 against wolves is the best we can hope for.Wolves are absolutely hapless.

Any teams they would face bar Southampton. It's not Liverpool has flawless record against these team in recent time. Liverpool lost last two visit to Leicester. Spurs drew them last season at Anfield that ruining their perfect run in and cost them the title. Spurs had some fight in them seeing them just coming back in second half against us. Liverpool hasn't won against Fulham in their last 3 meetings. As it stands Liverpool record in modern PL against Brentford is at a stalemate. Aston Villa has something to fight for. Gerrard was no longer here to bend over and give them 3 points.Out of interesting who do you see them slipping up against?
It's going to be a hammering. As close to a foregone conclusion as it gets in this league. It's not in this current Spurs side to squeeze much effort out of themselves twice in three days.if Spurs Liverpool is a draw today
Maybe it was because my stream was horrible but I don't think we played like shit today. It's a team that has played most games this season and today hosted Villa who haven't lost in 10 consecutive games. At this point in season, it's not a bad performance and a big win. That’s top 4 done pretty much. We are playing like shit but we are not shit enough to lose thrice and draw once in our last 6 for any below us to catch up.
'Wide Open'A win at Spurs would have left me confident. Tonight's result leaves it wide open. In fact I would not be surprised if we finish 5th or lower now.
Our two games in hand are against Villa and Brighton. It would not be a huge shock for us to take no more than two points from those matches.
The gap between us and the chasing pack is going to vanish pretty damn quickly.
Not taking our chances and drop off routinely in the 2nd half (but fortunately didn’t completely collapsed like against Pool or Spurs), and that’s at home. Defensive injuries of course a big part of it, but the mental fragility that persists over the last few years is still there. On another day Lindelof wasn’t fast enough to clear that ball off the line and this thread would have very different vibes.Maybe it was because my stream was horrible but I don't think we played like shit today. 'Wide Open'
Agree. Get the next two potentially tricky away games out of the way and things start to look a lot better with three of our last four games at home.Nine points to go. Even a couple of draws next week wouldn't be a disaster while winning just one of them would be another massive step.

Yeah, maybe I was too negative. However, Villa's form going into today's game gave us little cause for optimism. I am delighted we won and it leaves us not needing too many more wins from here.
