Race for top 4 | Finito.

feck.

We threw that game.

Potentially not a big deal if we win Sunday but our next games are really tough. We might fast find ourselves in big big trouble.

Top 4 is vital.

Villa, Brighton, West Ham, Chelsea, Fulham and Wolves all to come. We are going to struggle massively

I don't think we'll collapse at this point, but we never make it easy for ourselves, do we?

We are done.

Lead will be down to 2 points over Liverpool by Sunday week.

The mental fragility of some is remarkable. 7 points ahead of Liverpool with a game in hand, and they only have 6 games left.

What the feck is wrong with people. I always wonder if people are this emotionally weak in their day to day lives.

Only good thing is, this may give Spurs a bit of confidence for the trip to Anfield on Sunday.

Need four wins from our last seven to be sure, unless Liverpool slip somewhere along the way.

Would take a monumental capitulation from here.

Like the one we just seen 2nd half vs. Spurs ? People keep mentioning the games in hand argument but that's irrelevant if you don't win them, which we don't. We have a horror schedule in our next 3 games, by the time we finish them there's a strong chance we are almost out of the top 4 already. Liverpool are going to win all their games, make as much fun as you want but with our form they are now favorites to get top 4.

4 wins, 3 losses and we get in. Before today 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses was basically what we needed to guarantee above Liverpool. Threw it away today but at least we didn't lose (never looked like losing, but yeah)

Also, how on Earth is that a good point? That was a shocking second half performance.

We could have lost with a large margin. The second half was all Tottenham. We were bad passing out of defence. We should count ourselves lucky the scoreline stayed 2-2.
Yes, a point is not three points, but still I'm more than happy after that mediocre second half display.

Liverpool will put 4 or 5 past them. Spurs are shit, they were very shit in the first half and we fecked it.

If we don’t finish top 4, it’s a terrible season

Agree, I think we will do just about enough in the end to secure it but like you said, we are making it hard for ourselves. It’s like we want to give the teams below us a chance of sneaking into the top four at our expense.

That Bruno miss will haunt us.
It really won't. The drama queens are out in force as usual

Top 4 is done now. Was important we didn't lose tonight. Am I disappointed? Of course. But a point is all we needed.

The mental fragility of this team is remarkably bad.

Are you people being sarcastic?

Villa are one of the most in form teams in the league, if not the most

Brighton away is tough for everybody

West Ham have woken up a bit it seems and are playing well and it's away

Wolves and Fulham are awkward teams to play

Bournemouth will be fighting for their lives and away

Chelsea.... Will probably turn up but even if they don't we'll make their non existent attack look threatening

Shut up with your nonsense. See what united are doing now. The team cannot be trusted to have 2 great halves of football. Giving a team like Spurs a way in. Any other big club would have been 4-5 up after that half and yet we struggle to gain foothold after a decent first half.
You should stop crying. It’s not the end of the world.

Tottenham are now truly out, and Liverpool aren’t winning all of their games ffs.

I swear you can do this for any team. Even a championship opponent

4 out of our 7 remaining games are at home and on paper this was our hardest game although obviously the reality is Brighton away is the toughest. West Ham and Bournemouth aren’t the worst away games either.

tonight was terrible and we’re making it hard for ourselves but our run in isn’t that bad and there’s no need to panic with our home record.
