You can ignore what everyone else is doing - this is a simple equation. We need 13 points from a possible 24. Four wins and a draw from eight games.
Less than that and we won't get top 4, more than that and we have a good chance of finishing top 3.

Ye id bet on Newcastle making it. Just hope we don’t drop silly points. We’ve got a few tough games coming up, starting with tonight. They may have looked awful recently but they have players up top who can cause any team problems, plus they’ve changed manager again which is typical as soon as we come to play them. We also have villa at the weekend who are one of the most in form teams in the league and Brighton away which will probably be our toughest game left.
after Sunday, dont we have a week break in between games? something we havent had almost all season. i think it will be very beneficial for our run in and securing top 4

Nope, we got Brighton away on Thursday. We have another midweek game against Chelsea on 25th May but other than that we should only be on weekends.

think it is mainly a bit of realism mixed in with just the feeling of how shit our luck has seemed this season. Win today and think the mood shifts decently significant. Draw prob moves the needle a little positively. Loss and can see more nervousness creep in on the boards.

I genuinely see Villa being the only trouble they'll have on the run home despite their struggles so far. Southampton and Leicester away and home games vs Spurs, Brentford, Villa and Fulham. Spurs are terrible, Brentford and Fulham on the beach plus its Anfield. They've only lost once at home this season and only Arsenal, City and United have better home records and City aside all the other are super close. On the last day Saints will probably be gone already and Leicester are a mess right now.
Their home record is 10,4,1. Arsenal are 12,3,1 and United are 11,3,1. They are still super strong at Anfield.
The thing is I’m definitely a pessimist when it comes to United but some of the opinions on here are absolutely wild.
for me i try to be a realist. Do i think united will lose out the remaining games? Hell no. But people do seem to be taking things for granted at times considering we struggle away vs top half teams. PLus playing spots 5-8 the next 3 games hardly means things will be super easy. Also our injury situation sucks ass. And pool are looking like jammy fecks right now i swear. So i am a bit nervous. I remember when we had that huge lead over newcastle and people were laughing at those who said they could catch us, and that happened really quick. Im hoping for a win today and then a a draw between spurs and pool and that should put things directly in our somewhat easy control.

Shut up with your nonsense. See what united are doing now. The team cannot be trusted to have 2 great halves of football. Giving a team like Spurs a way in. Any other big club would have been 4-5 up after that half and yet we struggle to gain foothold after a decent first half.
