QPR v Manchester United (Friendly) Saturday 24th July 2021 @ 3pm BST | 4-2 loss

Did they flag for Elanga or Mason? Thought Elanga should’ve shot.

2-1 QPR

This also concerns me tbh. I understand why the Euros and Copa players were given a break but I'm concerned it could badly affect our preparation for the season and we absolutely can't afford to start the season unprepared yet again
It's just the reality with the fixture congestion the league's are pushing on teams and players. There is no way to prepare properly, no way to not run players into the ground. Hopefully everyone is affected but citys squad in particular is so deep that they will benefit.

Pretty bad defending from Williams for the goal. Felt he was lazy for not closing down the guy sooner

Tuanzebe leaves his striker to double the winger, no where near again for the goal.

I've grown a huge dislike for him in the past few games. I just don't see anything remotely positive in his game.
Southampton wanted him didn't they. Bad thing is Shaw not back yet and now Telles injured we might actually have to keep him. What a goal from QPR.

I like Elanga.

Snatching a bit at his touches when he gets them, but thats the bit you can refine through training.

He's getting into the right positions, and has great movement. And that is the bit you need to be instinctive.

wasn't that the excuse for last season's slow start? and the one before that?
We had one preseason game last season, so yeah, I’d say it was a pretty valid ‘excuse’.
