QPR v Manchester United (Friendly) Saturday 24th July 2021 @ 3pm BST | 4-2 loss

Lingard's short spell at West Ham seems to have done him the world of good. He may even push for squad place this year.

Dan James is a different player when he pulls on the red shirt of United.

QPR keep doubling up on AWB. Pellistri could do with dropping back to help every now and then.

He should push for a start at times. I would love to see him and Bruno working in attacking midfield. Pep would make it work. Ole maybe not good enough to tactically get an attacking team to defend well enough.

Williams is really making a strong case of another FB requirement at United

Oh my ... Lingard stepping in front of Pellistri as he was about to pull the trigger...
West Ham - we'll take an empty chips bag, just fecking take him away.
My eyes are about to bleed. Lingard and Pereirra in the middle of the field ...
What was Ole thinking? Trying to turn a few fans against the team?

One on one with the keeper he shoots in the middle of the goal...
He should pack his stuff and leave the club. He's still a young lad... hahahah

I’d have thought he’d be one of the ones running onto those balls rather than playing them. Not underplaying his passing ability, mind.
Correct.

We desperately need to bring in a couple of good, technical midfielders, if Pogba is going

Why was he left by himself in the penalty area? Where was Tuanzebe?

Even though Axel was too far away he could have done nothing to stop that goal even if he was in the penalty area. That was completely Mengi's fault, he left his man completely free and wasn't anywhere near him. Wasn't even like he was being dragged away by someone else.

Is this a 4-4-2? It looks like Lingard and Greenwood are play alongside each other at the moment.

It's not correct though. Jadon's best asset is absolutely his creativity. His dribbling and off the ball running is a bonus but he is not a player like Rashford who first and foremost tries to get on the end of passes to score. He can score goals but his assists will be the main thing that drew us to him.

:wenger: Breathe mate, it's okay.

Some stretch to blame Tuanzebe for that horrendous defending from Mengzi.

I'm sure that United fan was laughing at using James and Pellestri in a wall

Player scored but not a good enough goal

This is a much harder workout for the team. QPR have done really well and look far too physical for some of our younger and slighter players.

It’s like Ole needs to remind himself why Lingard used to drive him absolutely mental so that he can bring himself to sell him.

I think it is. Pellistri is playing more like a RM now. I think to nullify the threat of Wallace against AWB.

QPR have been the better side really. We're struggling to keep any sort of control of the ball which is a bit surprising considering we have Matic in midfield.
