Much better from the youngsters. How long has Andrea Pereira plays football? How can a Brazilian be so bad with the football. I think Elanga deserves Cup and some games when the season start. Looks like a proper player in Utd shirt.
I know Elanga missed a couple of clear cut chances today, but I really like the look of him.
No. In his however many games with Man Utd they've all been losses and draws. You're the first to notice.Has Pereira ever won a match with us? Feels like we haven't
Who cares? It's clear most of them won't be used, as they weren't last season.None of those 6 players are worthy of being in a United squad. And we've known that about most of them for 2-3 years now.
How many pre seasons of seeing Lingard and Pereira is this now? Third or fourth.
Parties are overratedDoom has already set in because our youth team lost to a full strength Championship team.
Must be fun at parties
Exactly. Some of the lads gave a good account of themselves. We actually played some really nice football in that last half an hour when we had the most kids on the pitch. Why can't people just enjoy watching our young lads giving it a go?
I remember when you had to read the score of a pre- season friendly the next day in the paper
I love his gifs
You serious? I was joking saying that, but wowzer if that is actually true. Feck sakeNo. In his however many games with Man Utd they've all been losses and draws. You're the first to notice.
Okay dearOle is just not good enough. These games just show it. Weaker teams often have it too easy against us when we miss the superstars. That is on the manager rather than the player.
Yes I know the results do not matter here, but we are not playing well enough as a team with the players we got.
Fill yer boots. It's a pre-season friendly and you barely had any first teamers, results are irrelevant.
That being said, I am asking for permission from the sensible Man United fans to wind up the idiots who are moaning about the result. You know they deserve it!
Yep. Could have easily finished 4-4This game is so open - could easily have scored 2/3 this half ourselves
Roger that, duffer. This is Papa Base. You are go to engage. I repeat, you have green light to engage at your discretion. It's a pre-season friendly and you barely had any first teamers, results are irrelevant.

This is 100% one of our biggest problems and isn't something that can be solved overnight. Really annoys me when I hear people saying to pay whatever it takes, then you have this problem down the line. Phil fecking Jones is on an absolute bomb.Yeh that's partly my point. Getting rid of deadwood actually has nothing to do with Ole whether it's successful or not.
Our club is just abysmal at setting values for our own players, giving contracts out like candy that are typically double or triple their market value, from De Gea all the way down to players like Williams and Tuanzebe.
Good thing you're not in any way involved as a judge of players being able to make it through.Elanga scored a fluke goal last year and everyone rated him. He's absolute wank
Didnt say he is wank. Its just that we are stacked in his position. Would be great if he makes it but i feel Hannibal and Shola have good chance to make it here.Jeez is Giflord back?
You believed that Bruno had said he wanted to leave if Pogba doesn't sign a new contract. No wonder they can keep making stuff up.CAF: Everything Must Be A PR move!

I’ll wait to see how Ole starts the senior squad before criticising
Dont think he will make at United.
We had a strong team out there, bar pellistri and mengi the rest are first teamers with bags of experience.
Shows the lack of depth in the squad, yes only a friendly but we're Man Utd and you play to win everytime you wear the badge.
What we already know Matic, Pererra, Williams, James, Tuanzebe not good enough as back up players. Some promising cameos from our younger players and they seem to have some basic understanding of playing together.
Doesn't have to be a pr move, just a journalist praying on people's desire to back their own narrativeCAF: Everything Must Be A PR move!

Imagine if Elanga and Hugill had finishes these huge chances. Instead QPR showed high effiency and went up to 4-1 quick. Only really bad performances has been from Pereira and Williams. Not surprised about Pereira, but sad to see that Williams look miles off the player two seasons ago.
HahaI'll give you a helping hand here.
4 - 2 = 2
Sensational would have seen him burying the 1 on , and finishing the other opportunity. He's raw but has abiity.

Don't think anyone's praised them for conceding 4 have they? There's a difference between genuine criticism and using a preseason game for agenda posting.Conceding 4 goals even in pre-season against a championship side isn't really great preparation no matter how you dress it up or play it down
Absolutely. Might be a great change, if pogba stays, etc etc... Just ridiculous to think that some paper could report it correctly being more likely than some paper just making it upI didn't even bother commenting in that thread, knowing how papers make up shite all the time. How they would possibly know of formation changes and the like are just plain dumb if you can't see that they know jack shite. However, being an arm chair manager, its very hard to resist giving your 2 cent opinion on the "formation change Ole has told his first team will be 433".
I wasn’t criticizing, I’m pointing out a general rule of thumb, that an article without a quote is almost always rubbish. But just because it’s made up doesn’t mean Ole won’t go 433. Maybe the reporter heard 433 has been discussed, who knows, but it’sa good rule of thumb, especially in “silly season”.CAF: Everything Must Be A PR move!

Looks a real danger doesn't he? Was impressed. He was clearly a bit nervous at the start and had some heavy touches but looked much better in the final 20mins. Took his goal very well.
