QF | Spain vs Germany | Portugal vs France

Oliver is many levels better than this idiot Taylor.
Wasn't it also Taylor who red carded Hummels against Ajax when indeed he was the one who have gotten fouled.

Spain were one f the best teams ever from 2008 to 2012. Not their fault if everyone parked the bus when playing against them and anyone pretending otherwise has a massive bias.

I mean I never commented on how they played, they were great. I just hate them because they good teams of ours as well, Germany obviously would've won in 2008 if not for Spain and I think would've won in 2010 as well since that was a really good team.

This year it's less than certain we would win because I could see us losing to France but it might hurt even more because I thought we were the better team, which wasn't the case in 2008 and 2010.

He reminds me of toast. If it was unbuttered and tasteless and also had two hands and legs and a stupid fecking voice and this really annoying grin with this inflated toast ego because he used to be a professional toast. It's so strange because I really love toast but at the same time I fecking hate this jenas toast so much.
cook that fraud

Is it fair to say Bernardo Silva is nowhere near as good for Portugal as he is for City or have I just been watching him at the wrong times? Feel this way about a lot of modern Pep players tbh.

Feels like with Benzema done and Giroud not starting anymore; they’re sorely lacking a quality CF. Not sure Thuram or RKM have done well enough to cement their spot. Really unbalances their attack, not to mention Dembele blowing more cold than hot. They’re stacked in defence and midfield. Then it feels like outside of Mbappe and Griezmann they’re lack a bit. But yeah, Deschamps is quite conservative as well. I think Portugal actually has more talent/options IMO - or they’re extremely evenly matched at the very least.
Seems to be a trend in football nowadays.

France team definitely miss pogba. No one to unlock the door and send mbappe on runs.

Missed the perfect chance to show Oliver the yellow card while giving it back. How could you let that opportunity slip, dude!

So is 1 yellow a suspension for the next games nowadays? Is that just in this tournament?

So do France have anyone with a bit of imagination in midfield?

Vitinha playing too well. Martinez will probably sub him

Deschamps gotta get canned after this tourney.

Terrorist football of the highest order.

He's exactly the same, people just have no clue. People think Bernardo is this kinda creative playmaker at City but he's not. Even when he plays right wing at City, he runs a lot and he drops deep to move the ball between defence and attack. He offers very little in terms of actual numbers and end product but for City and Portugal. Portugal fans think he's some kind of attacking machine at City he's not. The same way his job for Portugal is "Get the ball to Bruno" his job at City is "Get the ball to KDB" Bernardos strengths are between both boxes no in either.

He has 41 goal invovlements in 92 internationals and at City he has 193 in 543.

Every time I've seen Leao, he's been shit. Literally another Rashford.

Maybe if Pavlovic hadn't been unavailable - but this would have been to early for him anyway. Kroos really was just was on for morale supoort after min 90 (at least)

Goretzka would have been great for the last 30 minutes when Spain were running out of steam.
3 DM in Gross, Andrich and Can were one too much. Big mistake by Nagelsmann

Best thing you can say about France (other than complimenting Griezmann's hair) is that when they make mistakes their pace always gets them off the hook. Such a quick team

Kante has been threatening to either get on the end of a break away or get away with the ball about 3-4 times in this game and I'm assuming more times in other games.

Will he finally get a shot away or get into the box to score or assist?

So do France have anyone with a bit of imagination in midfield?

England could do with a player like Vitinha in our midfield. France could do with a player like Palmer in their attack.
