Nobody is saying that Gamepass has no merits or value, only that it's existence hasn't made it a system seller that draws people to the MS console platform.
You used time spent playing a particular game to try and prove people only want multiplayer. When sales data tells you that people want a variety of games and place great weight on exclusives, not because they are exclusive, but because they offer some of the best experiences. The Nintendo business model is basically based on its exclusive lineup, so much so that in terms of hardware they are fine being leaps behind.
I have had every Sony console and a few xbox's down the years. I removed buying a 360 to play Gears and Halo (exclusives), however today they have fallen so far behind in this area I simply have no reason to look at Xbox. That may change in the future but right now the market shows that in its current state, Xbox is very much the runt of the litter in terms of appeal.
