Xbox will be much cheaper and more convenient. Will probably just pick up a Series S once they drop below £200.

Starfield is something I’m looking forward to seeing more of.

You’ll be able to get a chrome book for cheaper than that.

So on topic... PS5 stay winning? Xbox still has no games?

Xbox available on amazon, guess not many are interested as it hasn't sold out as quickly as ps5.

Does anyone have the Series S? If so, how is it?

I do. It's alright. It offers the ability to play videogames, some of which look better than ones that came out a few years ago. It's very white and small. Plays games in 60 FPS at 1080p max. Has one USB port on the front. Is quieter than Glaston after Spurs lose. What else would you like to know?

Honestly yes it's a bit annoying but you have to promise to never, ever mention it.

I want to install Quantum Break one day but it'll probably mean getting rid of either Halo or Forza (it'll be Forza).
I promise. Thank you for your honesty. Just a shame your minions can’t do the same.

I think I'm going to get the Series X in a year or two's time as a GP machine. I could wait and see what the lay of the land is re the Bethesda deal, but I think we all know what it's going to ultimately mean in the end.

They’re also giving 40% off gamepass to try and shift them.

Are the graphics decent? Do you feel like you should’ve gone for the X / PS5?

I think performance > graphics is what we've seen with the next-gen consoles so far. A solid 60 FPS at 1080p makes a world of difference, especially in FPS/driving games. There's been too few new games to judge graphics but looking at Halo: Infinite videos I'm barely noticing the difference. It's an upgrade for sure but a minor one at best.

If you have a 4k TV I'd highly suggest getting an X over an S. I don't myself hence why I'm not bothered (and I use my PS4 for watching blu-rays).

The S is good mostly as a gamepass device. Lots of variety but not future-proof.

Kind of cute the console lot are talking performance > graphics must admit.

and yes i agree with the statement graphics have reached a point of diminishing returns for me personally.

I think we can all agree pc guys who are condescending about consoles can suck a fart out of a dead seagull

“well my rig only costs 2k, silly console boys”

*queue lads saying they can build it cheaper, but don’t.

So only some Bethesda games will be exclusive to Xbox.

Microsoft needing to tap into the bigger market still it seems.

Gamepass on PS5 by 2023!

I'll be opting for a PS5 for my next gen needs, but if MS start dropping must-have exclusives then an S to accompany it seems the logical move at such a low price. Even cheaper by the time those exclusives actually arrive.

Then again, the PS6 may be on the horizon by then...
