Protests planned for the match on Sunday?

Call me reckless and irresponsible but I'd have no qualms about the fans protesting to the point of getting more matches called off. If thats what it takes to hit these pathetic owners in the pocket then so be it. The way I see it, we carry on with Ole we're not getting top 4 nevermind challenging for anything, so what do we have to lose?

If he doesn't have the decency to resign, I won't mind protest to get him out, even though he is and will remain club legend.

It’s a good idea. You wouldn’t mind if it was a protest against Mourihno would you. But because its an ex player it’s embarrassing. I hope after he is sacked (as soon as possible) we never hire an ex player ever again.

I didn't say that. Don't go making assumptions now.

Excuse me?!

You really think Machester United the one of the few elite clubs in world football, should have fans that protest a club legend to get sacked? It’s fecking disgusting, reeks of entitlement too.

We all slammed Barca’s fans for doing it, why on earth are we doing it to our own club.

Terrible terrible terrible behaviour.

It was disgusting when Arsenal fans did it to Wenger, it was disgusting when Barca’s did it to Koeman and it will be disgusting if this proposed protest goes ahead
Ideally not but since our elite club cannot make a decision they should have made at least 5 times during Ole's tenure here, it's obvious they need some help. Legend or not, he should have been gone long time ago.

Relax - this is just Twitter bollocks, there is no protest

It's all over Twitter, but I don't think I've seen anyone particularly influential Tweet or post about it, so I'm not sure what kind of traction something like this would get without some sort of official backing.

Here's a link: https://www.caughtoffside.com/2021/11/08/man-united-anti-glazer-protest/

Stupid to conflate #GlazerOut and #OleOut - it will get no traction

Is it about the dividends? I have no problem with Glazers taking dividends. I have huge issues with them not knowing what the feck they’re doing.
Agree. Whoever owns us wont be doing it out of their love for Utd, they will want some payback. If we could guarantee owners who took double the amount out, but wanted the football side to progress and took the right action to do it, I would back that 100%

Agree with that.

I have to fully agree with this. The board simply won't react unless chaos breaks out. They've shown this time and time again.

I’ve said exactly the same thing in the rebuild thread but one reply was that United fans have got their wish having ex United players at the club and the Glazers weren’t to blame, it was the middle management which is utter bollocks in my opinion but it’s not the first time I’ve heard this Glazer apologist bullshit.

Nothing will change until these fecks are gone, why people don’t see this is mind boggling.

Arsenal fans did it to Wenger, I think fans need to do whatever they can to make their voices heard at this point. Targeting sponsors and protests might be the only way.

Protests is a must but I think they need to be realistic and more aligned in the end goal. Glazers are here to stay but instead of saying glazersout they can make a motion for a quality DoF or improvement in the infrastructure. You've got a better chance of getting Glazers to get proper footballing folk in by pressuring them than you do of turfing them out.

nothing wrong with protesting, like the glazers give a rats arse about fan feelings as long as the money pours in. if some chaos interferes with the gravy train then so be it. no omlettes without a few breaking eggs.

I hope it makes Sky Sports news. They need to be aired for their incompetence. Might get a decent CEO out of it.

There is no protest. Its the twitter reds who don't know where Old Trafford is.

If it was a proper protest this board would know 10% of the plans like last time :)

This thread is an example of how the Glazers win. Fans mocking fans for being frustrated about the state of our club. If you don't want to attend of even support a protest then fair enough - don't go. Why ridicule other fans?

Top reds don't criticise United. Anyone who doesn't wank themselves into a coma at the thought of how great Ole is doing should go and support Chelsea!

Top reds / cheerleaders won't be keen on any protests.
They’ve outed themselves as Ole fans first and foremost. They’d rather us go down to the championship before they’d even direct the smallest bit of criticism towards him. It’s cult behaviour.

Can someone, anyone, tell me why the feck this matters? Why do people care so much who the manager is and what he did in his playing days? He's paid big money to manage us like a top class manager should and he's failing and seemingly staying. I mean it's not even like it's Messi who is Mr. Barcelona or SAF who is a God-like figure for United fans. It's Ole. Calm the the down with this sobbing United Legend act. All that matters is the good of the club, none of this romantic drivel.

There's also nothing wrong with peaceful protests about any subject really. I think it's a shame Ole has become a patsy for the Glazers to shield them from the ire of some of the fan base.

A protest to get OGS out would be a disgrace and an incredible low for this fan base.

I think that for most fans this is not about Ole. It's about the board. It's clear to many that we need to change manager, but they are refusing to do it and our season is crumbling. The pressure should be on the board. For most balanced fans, I think Ole will always be a legend and will be remembered for the good things he did as a manager. The longer they keep him there, the more that legacy gets eroded, and that's not fair on Ole.

Sadly, the Glazers' lack of communication has left many people feeling there is little choice but to protest, they are taking the goodwill and unconditional support of the fans for granted.
Another point, the fact it is OGS is irrelevant, he has been put in a position where he has become a figure of public ridicule and the longer it continues the worse it is going to get but the protests themselves will surely be about the Glazers - not OGS himself, he is a byproduct of their reign of greedy incompetence.

Protest is great. As I said before, nothing wrong with the people having a voice as long as it's done properly. And I don't think football is a trivial matter like some. It means a hell of a lot to millions and is significant in their shared sense of community.

To applaud or stay silent witnessing favoritism and lack of ambition would be a disgrace and an incredible low for this fan base.

Any of the lads on here arguing for this bollocks actually gonna go?
