Apparently the only way the club do something is when the fans protest, so go for it...
Embarrassing really. We only protest when things aren’t going our way. No wonder we have Glazers still owning us — we don’t have the stomach to drive them out.
Things haven't went our way for 8 years to be fair.
Cringe. Protest until a new manager comes in and a shiny new January signing and all is well again until the next slump in form.
There probably isnt anybody who could actually afford to buy us anyway apart from oil money which nobody wants, so the whole "Glazers still own us" thing is pointless. They own United, and they sign off on spending more money on transfers than almost every club and more money on wages than almost every club. At the end of the day, there are worse owners than the Glazers, as shit as they are. They're here to stay as much as we all hate it. Protesting just their existence will achieve nothing. Best we can do is hope they become more engaged as owners and make better decisions, which is what we want with the manager. The fans making their voice heard will make it hard for Ole to stay, and then we might just get lucky and hire someone competent.
They could sell us on a stock market. You think that if they listed the whole club, there wouldn’t be enough different investors?
Point is, we only kick up a fuss when something isn’t going our way. So let’s say Ole gets the sack, will the fans suddenly put away their green and gold scarves? Of course they will.

The Glazer's biggest problem is that they trust Woodward and co too much, we need people who understand football making footballing decisions, not a bunch of accountants. Changing owners isn't going to help if we still put people whose job is to earn as much money as possible in charge of footballing matters.
Protest when there is no game on and the people in charge will be in their mansions somewhere? What's the point?
Is this an anti-Ole protest? If so, the best place to do it is from the stands during a game, assuming he's still in charge by our next home game. The Glazers aren't about to go anywhere. I can't see much benefit from a one-off protest this weekend at a time when our current plight isn't directly of their making. We mostly agreed they gave us a squad that should be competitive this season.
Next home game is in December. We could realistically be on the brink of CL elimination and 12th or 13th in the league by then.
Sooner people protest, the better.
Is it about the dividends? I have no problem with Glazers taking dividends. I have huge issues with them not knowing what the feck they’re doing.
Yeah Arsenal ironically who also have an ex player in charge but clearly more ability, think we can safely say we have now seen the end of that mocking of their manager by the Stretford Paddock duo

Well what exactly do you want? Realistic options only, aka the Glazers are staying. The best case is they become more engaged and make better footballing decisions. That starts with hiring a good manager. That continues by improving the structure behind the manager so that manager turnover is more seemless. Beyond that, all they really have to do is sign off for the money which they already do.
They aren't even earning as much money as possible. The amount United spends compared to the lack of any reward is ridiculous and if they cared about the money/earnings, they would care a lot more about the results. They are signing off on spending boat loads of money and seemingly not expecting any return on the pitch.

If you think the glazers are leaches, wait until we're fully listed on the market. Their will be nobody villanise, as the clubs shares will be bought up by funds/groups who only care about the bottom line.
A handful of decent results and Arteta clearly has more ability? Ole has had several runs of results that were far more impressive than anything we have seen from Arsenal lately and he didn't manage the team to back to back 8th place finishes. I am in favour of replacing Ole but I would still credit him with having achieved more than Lego Pep has shown himself capable of.

I didn’t say about glazers being good owners or bad owners but if we wanted them out, really wanted them out — we’d have done so already.
I don’t know who’d come next or how much money they’d give or take, but I know that our collective fanbase don’t have it in us to get rid of them. We’ve complained about them for over a decade and next to feck all has happened.

Arteta is garbage, don't be fooled by a small good run of results in easy fixtures. Their underlying stats are horrible this season (as our ours).

People complaining about the Glazers haven't seen the other side. You can be a Spurs fan ffs.
As with any business, there are pros and cons. Yeah, they take some dividends out and the club is in debt but on the other side they invest some money and the brand is the strongest it has ever been.
Expecting some Americans to understand how an European football club should be run on the sporting side is like expecting them to eat anything without sauce.
People should focus more on showing them the way instead of wanting them out. I know in reality you want a self sustainable club able to spend 200 mil a summer, but let's be honest, there's none in world football that does that and, considering the times we're in, there won't be, unless you want them oil money.
In regards to protests, they're always good, the same with bitching on their social media channels. It's customer feedback and it will be healthy in the long run.

If United sustained those protests - win, lose or draw - I’m certain that the Glazers would have fecked off by now. They have no interest in owning us if it’s hurting their pocket.

I am willing to sacrifice a couple of trophy less years if someone would come in with a plan and a strategy not only for commercial success but also the style of play, the youth policy, the recruiting policy, the club’s identity as an English club, as a Manchester club as well as a global club.
We can get lucky and get our hands on the next Klopp or Guardiola but unless something fundamental is changed in the structure and management of the club the success will only be temporary.

Not really, Ole is clearly not the man for the job and 99% of us fans know that. We're the whole reason why the club makes money, so we should have a BIG say in who's our manager. Clearly, as things are going, the owners don't give a toss about our thoughts.

Also, you need to separate Ole the player and Ole the manager. It's absolutely stupid to keep him on the job just because he scored a last-minute winner in 99.

It’s a good idea. You wouldn’t mind if it was a protest against Mourihno would you. But because its an ex player it’s embarrassing. I hope after he is sacked (as soon as possible) we never hire an ex player ever again.
