Premier League May 3-5

Obviously its gonna be a long long but if it comes to the last day and we are close to City's GD going into the Newcastle game how would you lot feel if we pipped City to the title by goal difference so even goals scored?

Jesus but you're pathetic! You only seem to connect to.Liverpool via the reaction on this forum.

Define close… Even if you win this 6-0, and they win 1-0, they're ahead by 4… I don't regard that as particularly close.

If City won both their games 1-0, Liverpool would have to beat Newcastle 8-0 as things stand.

Would make a great last day if the goal differences are neck and neck, although I really hope they don't catch up with City.

That is quite close, retrievable even. They can stick 6 past Newcastle at home.

Would be hilarious if they lose out by 1 goal or so.

Would be even sweeter when they lose on GD. That Gerrard slip will be remembered forever.

Or if Liverpool were on even GD but Aguero scores a last minute goal against West Ham :D

My main point was not how likely it is to happen but if it did happen would it be a bitter sweet result for United as it would mean Liverpool winning the league but City having it snatched from them on GD.

Imagine Gerrard sat in the centre circle at Anfield, sobbing his eyes out as he sees Aguero score the winner on the big screen

Just bitter.

come on Palace, keep this at 3-0. We don't want even the tiniest chance of them catching things up.

Although who is to say City if they win both games would only win by the minimum themselves?

Steve Gerrard Gerrard
He slipped on his fecking arse
He gave it to Demba Ba
Steve Gerrard Gerrard

Typical isn't it. Their solid defence under Pulis happens to turn into a steaming pile of soft shite just when they play Liverpool. Fantastic!

To be honest it would hurt the same. Don't think too many people would be focusing on how you did it.. Just the fact that you did

How many times this season have they won by 6 goals or more?
I didn't say it was likely, though let's be honest, they're gonna absolutely smash Newcastle. Newcastle have also barely scored a goal themselves in months. They wont win by enough to win the league, mind, but hypothetically speaking, a 4 goal gap is retrievable.

Don't forget that Aston Villa and West Ham are likely to be on holiday mode as well.

So am I the only one here who'd rather the scouse won it than City?

Mostly for the good of football. Yeah Liverpool have some annoying fans, but these days City have a lot too; they've reeled in thousands of glory hunters and the arrogance at Bluemoon at times irritates me more than the oddball poetry at RAWK.

AFAIC, City are a bitter bunch with noxious, arrogant fans. Liverpool are at least a 'real' football club, in that they have pedigree, history, and if they won the league they'd have at least fought for it fair and square, rather than just bought it.

For me Liverpool > City. Not popular in here I know, but I hope City bottle it, lose some of their mercenaries to the likes of Real Madrid, then go on the slide back to mediocrity.

Fair enough, I just though after City stole it from you on GD it happening to them might raise a smile.
