Premier League May 3-5

If Johnson is going, then it's Cisokkho time

Going in 2-0 would be huge. We're capable of scoring 3 or 4 in a half. This defence looks shite tonight.
You need to calm down about the 6-0 mate. You are not winning it on goal difference.

I've seen absolutely nothing from this game that would indicate something amazing would happen.....just as I or any sane person would have predicted.

Liverpool are 90% through their usual 1st half onslaught and have scored only once so far.

Crystal Palace have perhaps looked more open than I thought but Liverpool's defence looks pretty crap and looks liable to concede once or twice if Liverpool do attempt a genuine kamikazee onslaught.

 well put

Bolasie just keeps kicking the ball at the Liverpool defenders.

Liverpool can score 10 against Newcastle for all I care, they're still not winning it in goal difference.

True but the times they have gone kamikaze this year they have looked very likely to concede themselves. I think 1-0 remains a dangerous scoreline for Liverpool because it gives them the comfort of a winning scoreline meaning they want to go for the onslaught but it's a very slender lead and if they push too far forward.. well..

Agreed. But if they did win 6 nil, City will be under a bit more pressure than if they just win 2 nil
They might win 3-0 here and beat Newcastle 6-0 on Sunday. It won't be enough. They'd have to win 4-0 here and 8-0 on Sunday to maybe have a chance of winning it on GD.

Liverpool have been OK. Nothing special.

Can't see Palace turning this around. They don't have too many goals in that team.

Thought Palace played well after settling after the goal (first set piece goal conceded under Pulis, apparently).

Next goal could go either way.

come on Palace, a draw removes that very small risk that City can't navigate Villa and West Ham at home!!

The way this season has gone it would be hardly surprising if City is drawing West Ham in the 90th minute on the final day but Aguero doesn't save them this time and let Liverpool win.

Cherry on the icing in a horrible year for us.

I could see City drawing against West Ham especially if Aguero isn't fully fit. Liverpool need to focus on winning and getting the job done on their part.

Don't tempt fate.

Good thing Sky aren't refereeing this one - Liverpool would've had a goal difference's worth of penalties at this point.

Palace have 0 chance of a draw.. None. United have more chance of finishing 6th.

Am I doing this right?
