Premier League Matchweek 3 (26-27 August)

Yes Burnley you absolute gems! Keeps the Wembley thing going, and means we're a quality 5 points clear of them after 3 games.6 points clear of Arsenal too.

Liverpool looked dangerous, but a lot of that was a disastrous Arsenal performance

Really? I know your brother, he emails me quite a lot.

Thanks mate. Bout time I had a smidgin of good luck this summer.

Milky bars are on me.

Sanchez is a cnut for laughing. Should atleast have some respect for the club, though he wants to leave.

Spurs dropped points too. Good times.

Predicted Arsenal & Spurs to miss out on the top 4 with Liverpool sneaking in behind Chelsea & the Manchester clubs... Not seeing much to make me doubt that so far.

Oh man I gotta say that is a truly terrible result. Genuinely starting to fear for our season. We need some players in the next few days otherwise it's mid table mediocrity again.

Oh come on thats nonsense

Mouriniho got criticised for it but the only way to play Pool is long ball, robs them of their counter, which is Klopps only idea

Fantastic result for Liverpool, but they do often annihilate the Arse.

Winners of the weekend have to be United though. Two rivals dropping points again, City lucky to not be a third.

Honestly we have been so terrible in the past 3 games I think top 6 will be a decent season.

You're essentially playing 38 away games this season and you haven't strengthened enough. It was to be expected

Arsenal will never win a title under Wenger again. Simple.

Still think Sanchez stays, but Ox potentially goes

Is it? We look like a mid table side right now, half the team hasn't started the season well at all - we lack options from the bench and have signed just one player with the window closing in a few days. We will get better but losing points already is a bad sign.

Only shame this matchweek is that City managed to win it late at Bournemouth, but at least Sterling won't be playing against us. 4-0 looks a great result for us, which it is, but there are two sides to the story - we were good, but Arsenal are a complete fecking shambles  Lovely to see that.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton dropping points yesterday and today. If only we didn't concede that late equalizer in Watford, we'd be joint top with you guys :(

Hoping for a win at the Etihad, it's certainly possible if you look at City's defensive displays. We also need to tighten up at the back against their attack though. Will be an interesting game for sure. It's a shame this stupid international break is already here.

Think it is. You conceded in extra time, otherwise perception would be a bit different. Think you will be fine, you just need that one win on Wembley to get things going, till then you will be surrounded with curse bullshit, wouldnt be surprise if some players believe in such a nonsense.

You know better then me what you lack, RB coming i guess, not sure what else you need.

Playing 38 away games is brutal.
And the worst part is Wembley is like their bogey ground and that's where they have to play half their games.
I think top 8 could be tough for Spurs this season. This would apply to most teams, if they had to play 38 away games.

Mouriniho got criticised for it but the only way to play Pool is long ball, robs them of their counter, which is Klopps only idea

Absolutely, completely bypassing their press is the best way to counter them.

You also see how frustrated Klopp gets when teams don't play an open style against him. He wants the opposition to play exactly the way Arsenal and Hoffenheim played this week. Such naive tactics.

Arsenal last 13 away fixtures against United, Chelsea, Spurs, City and Liverpool 0-5-8

Wow. Ozil looked like he was going to burst into tears.

Sanchez upon coming off looked far more worrying.
It was the face of a guy who knew he'd given everything, amongst a bunch of no hopers. Has to try and push a late move through surely.

He's being made to stay on a team he doesn't want to be on AND he gives 100% on the pitch. His manager is a tool. I'd laugh too.

He is basically daring Wenger to keep him.
If Wenger dares keep him, he will have a player who has no interest in playing well for AFC and will walk for free, next Summer.
Wenger (and his bosses) love money. They run the club like a business and I think Sanchez will be gone in the next few days, for financial reasons.
