I see where you're coming from as that is a hell of a lot of money for an unhappy player, but I see it from Liverpools POV too in that he could really help them this season and, even though it's a lot of money, in the current market, it's not a certainty to make up for the loss of such a player. Especially, as others have said, clubs would know that Liverpool were sitting on a mountain of cash and end up being even more unreasonable in terms of asking price.
I feel so sorry for Sanchez. His face on the bench was just like "What the hell did I come back for?" Come on Mourinho let's put in a bid before the end of the window.

It's nothing new. They played the same way all of last year with Lallana at the top of the triangle and Coutinho at left wing. They don't play Winjaldum, Can and Henderson in midfield if they can avoid it, it's too defensive.
Salah's arrival will merely cause a shuffle in attack and Lallana will drop to the bench.
