Premier League Matchweek 3 (26-27 August)

Its not a case of having money - its the fact that its a seller's market at the moment due to the likes of PSG and other big clubs throwing massive cash it players over the past year. A great example of this is Liverpool attempting to buy Keita for 80m or more. Liverpool didn't have big money at the time but Leipzig still attempted to fleece them. Its just the nature of the market at the moment.
Dembele would've been about €50m cheaper if Barca got him before the £200m

Arsenal spending spree incoming. But if I was an Arsenal fan, outside the results, I'd be worried that the players will now force moves in the next few days

If the Arse players aren't bothered they may as well walk off the field now instead of this pathetic display

The only time I don’t mind Liverpool winning... so I can watch arsenal fan tv!

Oh Robbie you’re going to be a millionaire tonight!

Seriously Alexis, run. Run now. Forget the last year on your contract, just get away from Arsenal, whatever it takes. Just run.

Arsenal is completely falling apart. If I would be a fan I would be very worried by now.

They may as well go if they're not bothered. Put the under 23s in, can't be any worse than this.

That pace from Salah was absolutely electric, even Mane and Bellerin struggled to keep up with him

Got to be up there amongst the quickest players in the league.

It honestly doesn't matter who we have at the club when we've got this fraud in charge.

We're dreadful. Tough season ahead, and the medium term (1-4 year) future of the club is worse than it's been at any point in Wenger's reign. Hard to see reasons for optimism - maybe a Europa League run.
