Premier League Matchweek 3 (26-27 August)

The Ox doesn't look like he wants to play... why start him?
My thoughts exactly, he wants out clear as day, wenger on about building team around him in future, yet shoves him out as wingback.

I think Arsenal, despite being awful can still get a result here as long as they can keep it at 1-0. Bring on Giroud and Lacazette in the second half and I reckon they can create at least one goal out of nothing against this Pool defence.

Our fans were great in the first half and after the goal. Just a 25 minute period after half time where everyone was bored shitless.

Yes I heard a bit of Delilah and I know it isn't easy when the game is flat. It was like a crypt in that period but it's good to hear you were in decent voice for the rest.

What are they saying? I've got two others.

Just ripping into Arsenal's midfielders, namely Ozil and Ramsay.

Neville called their defending pathetic amongst other things whilst Carragher ripped into Ramsay for not even watching play and walking about nonchalantly before Liverpool scored. Strong terms such as embarrassing and shocking etc

But they can concede 3-4 playing like this

Seems to me the players are downing tools.

It's a hot mess at Arsenal.
What makes it even funnier is how predictable Liverpool would set up today and how they'd play. Wenger has been around for years, surely he'd know to slightly adapt to limit that style. Instead he thinks he can play them in a wide open game. He's a fecking moron for that and his refusal to adapt will ruin his legacy.

The lack of effort from these players:rolleyes: Is Wenger a monster behind the scenes or what? At least pretend to be interested.

I'm going to write a series of children's books about Danny Welbeck where he can't get through normal day to day situations without falling over.

The decision to give Arsene a new deal looks ridiculous after this start to the season.

I mean imagine you've been shite and umambitious for years, continually failing to challenge for the league (being told its acceptable because CL qualification is being attained). Then you slip out of the top four.

So you reward same manager with a new deal. There's no business logic at all unless Arsene is willing to work for free or something.

Not that I hope they start doing well but look at that out there today. Why not try and shut up shop for once (they have before) and not try and play into Liverpools hands? Get rid of that lazy shite Ozil and maybe not play Welbeck. It's borderline neglect from Wenger.

How does Wenger manage to find these spineless players like Xhaka so consistently? It's seriously impressive.
