I honestly dont understand why more teams dont go long against Liverpool. They are flooding the opposition half, packing nearly every player bar the defenders in the bang middle of the Swansea half and a long ball would nullify the pressure at once.
We should have started Origi or Sturridge for this one. Can and Wijnaldum are playing in the same areas.

When you break it down, Klopp's high press is essentially a re-do of the late 70's response to total football - run around like mentalists and close the space, stop football at its root. The next step after that was a 'lump it up to the big man' phase, which worked reasonably well. It's what teams will start doing against Liverpool and Spurs - frustrate with men behind the ball and then go long.
Klopp is essentially inviting teams to play crap football and then being all indignant when they do.
