Premier League matchweek 2 (august 19th-21th)

This season is really a good opportunity to build an early gap. We don't face any big team until Liverpool in October. We can't drop any points in the next 5 or 6 games.

I agree. Is it a case of one game a week until then? The annoying thing is the international break is coming up soon, right? Such an inconvenience.

fair result. I thought city would have scored there towards the end to steal all 3 points. This city squad has a tremendous amount of individual talents. They are quick and good with the ball. It will be interesting to see how they build on as a team as they progress through the season.

He was talking to Rooney, saying how they've spent a lot of money on good players then asked him, is it enough for you to finally win a derby match.

haha. nice. I don't think any amount of money will do that

As poor as Wayne was the past few years at United, he's a bang on United Legend. He's taken the piss out of City thrice today...once by scoring and twice during his post-match interviews. It's fecking lovely.

Don't forget when he developed a sudden limp when he was coming off :)

Shame that the Sane experiment did not work. But thanks for testing this out for Germany. But we like Gundogan in defensive midfield and we have enough centrebacks, so just Gundogan in midfield. Thank You, Mr. Guardiola.

Not only is this possibly the worst attempt at a throw in ever seen from Fernandinho, but why is he trying to throw it in a direction that would have basically put an Everton player through on goal?

He pushed him again in the tunnel ?

Sane at LWB? Do me a favour Pep.

You may be playing at home, you make think of yourself as unique, but if you'd have respected your opponent more, you might not've been so emboldened as to drop Danilo, an actual defender.

So how many million spent on left backs and Sane starts.

Wasn't it Sane who tweeted some shit about how City getting B. Silva was a victory for football because Mourinho would have played him as a CB or something? Now here he is playing fullback

So, can someone please tell me what's the reasoning behind playing Sane as wing back after you've spent £130m on new ones this window?

Such a weird position to play someone like Sane in.

weird to think Evertons record signings cost more than ours. interesting to see how they progress over the next few years.
