Great pic

Gutted for Holgate as I think he's a fantastic talent and didn't deserve that slip up.

City dominated possession as to be expected but why on earth were they playing De Bruyne so deep!!

He's their best-attacking player.

Never seen someone more excited about a draw. Perhaps he was just over the moon about meeting Barça legend Koeman and didn't know what to do with himself. Or maybe he's trying to distract the cameras from all the empty seats.

Rooney's goal was great but you could see the bad side of his ball chasing self in the end. Especially when Everton could have used their center forward between the center backs and holding up the ball, he was out chasing the ball on the right wing getting in Holgate's way. After a few tinmes, Holgate finally started moving to the center when Wayne drifted wide.

Gash from Everton in the second half. They just defended and it looked like they're a man down.

Also Pep had too much coke it seems.

Pep's gonna be creepy weird in the post-match isn't he?
I would go with flatly refusing to talk about the sending off and praising his side like they've just destroyed the ring of power and saved the world.

Genuine question, has Pep ADHD or anything like that. He always seems very hyper on the bench

I wasn't expecting anything from everton today so actually happy that City dropped 2 points. Shame it wasn't all 3, but still a good return.

Great game. I was disappointed with how Everton sat back and gave City so much to work with but their defending was very, very good and they deserved the point.

Koeman's subs were mostly baffling. I understand the back 4 later on, but what good was bringing on Sigurdsson? He's most valuable for free kicks and Everton were conceding too much possession to really get any.

Calvert-Lewin impressed me. There were some comparisons being made to Rashford during the game and I do see similarities between them. CL actually looks a bit more composed in his decision-making and very good at protecting the ball in close quarters, IMO the two are equally good in that second aspect.

I also thought Keane was solid, and I've never been a fan of him. I think he handled himself well in a back 3, really didn't do anything wrong.

City - poor all around. They did enough in the 2nd half to draw but really had no end product. Aguero should just spend the entire game on his back so he doesn't waste energy having to go down.

Sterling was excellent for the goal, though. Very nice strike.

I thought City did ok (only saw the 2nd half). They played fairly well with ten men against a decent side like Everton. Pep realised that they wouldn't be able to break down Hoolgate so brought in Danilo to overload on the right which returned them good enough. I wonder what Koeman thought when he brought on Sigurdsson/Klaassen instead of Lookman or Mirallas as pace seems handy when playing on the counter.

Pretty nice that City, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all dropped points already.
Leicester at home next week for us with Liverpool facing Arsenal. Happy with that esp if we win.
This season is really a good opportunity to build an early gap. We don't face any big team until Liverpool in October. We can't drop any points in the next 5 or 6 games.

Sane at LWB? Do me a favour Pep.

You may be playing at home, you make think of yourself as unique, but if you'd have respected your opponent more, you might not've been so emboldened as to drop Danilo, an actual defender.
