Premier League Matchday 21 (January 1-3)

He's like Thomas Muller, his greatest talent is finding space, like he did twice in the game today. If he sharpens up his finishing he gets two goals today and would be the toast of the league. He's 18 and it's perfectly reasonable to expect him to improve on his composure and finishing in the years to come. That said, I'm not sure I'd like to see him at United. He isn't the kind of player I enjoy watching.
Thomas Muller was a crack at 18 though. nevermind i'm bad at math . He was 20 when he broke through in 2009

I don't see it with this Sessegnon kid yet

Pathetic from Fulham’s RB, been absolutely dreadful all game, and TFM can’t get a game ahead of that guy?

For all their spendings last summer, Fulham still have a terrible first XI.

I am starting to think that future star "TFM" is a bit of a redcafe myth. Couldn't get in Palace's team last season, can't get in Fulham's team this season. Yet some people want this guy to be our next right back?

His problem was never ability. But mental fragility. He was abysmal in that final season with us. And not because the other defenders were necessarily more talented. Just couldn't handle being the senior defender.
He seems to be a bit of an idiot, despite having loads of GCSEs. There have been regular off the pitch disclipinary issues, both at United and subsequently. He got sidelined by LvG for a disastrous start to 14/15, including the MK Dons debacle, got pressed back into service later that season during the inevitable injury crisis and had an excellent run of games, then ruined it all by getting banned for a spitting incident. Such a frustrating player.

He isnt getting trust from the managers.

I am all for giving youth a chance, but if he isn't trusted by Crystal Palace & Fulham, then I'm sorry, but he isn't good enough for Manchester United. Cyrus Christie is keeping him out of the team, and I don't even know who that is.

Squeaky bum time

Crazy thing is that I’ve got Arsenal on my betting coupon but deep down I’m quietly cheering for Fulham

He was revelation towards the end of LVGs reign. When we played Spurs at white Hart lane he was our best player and I remember we collapsed as soon as he got replaced. It's a shame he hasn't developed but the whole point of the loan is to play. If he's not playing what's the point?

Remarkable how he made 24 appearances last season while not getting into the team.
No, it's not remarkable at all. He started the season as right sided centre back in a three, when they moved to a 4-3-3 he was shifted to right back and dropped for Joel Ward. By the end of the season he was third choice behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Ward. For the majority of the season he was a back-up player. Scott McTominay made 23 appearances for us last season, doesn't mean he was getting in the team regular does it.

Agreed. He looked very good under LVG. That poor game against Everton in the FA Cup semi seemed to kill his confidence, and he's never really recovered.

You better check events and his minutes per manager in Crystal Palace and Fulham, nothing to do with clubs not trusting him.

We are terrible at defending set pieces but our defending at open play is quite good. Arsenal simply cannot defend.
