Premier League Matchday 21 (January 1-3)

Pickford is abysmal.
Clangers in every game and once again a terrible pass completion. His reputation is one of the strangest things in football. He's crap. Like really crap.

Two-footed from Tosun - Yellow card. Handball from Keane unpunished. Not a good minute from Atkinson.

He was flagging for goal kick. The commentators always get that wrong.

Everton remind me of United under Mourinho.

It's an indictment of our signings that Jonny Evans would probably be our second best CB if he was still here.

I can't see Marco Silva lasting much longer. He's been exposed at the higher level. Serves Everton right.

Yeah I don't think he's up to much at all... but somehow he's done a good job of convincing people, especially the media, that he's some sort of top-tier manager.

Leicester are weird....

One week they'll beat City and Chelsea, then they'll lose to Cardiff, but then they'll look totally comfortable against Everton.

Everton can feck right off.

The way their fans revelled in our Moyes-led demise always pissed me off, as did the way they treated Allardyce.

Silva is being shown up as an absolute fraud if you compare results to outlay.

Lovely stuff.

Auba/Laca/Iwobi starting? I'm going 4-1 Arsenal.

Aside from the fact the chelsea, city and cardiff results were all somewhat flukeish, leicester are mostly an average side but with a lot of pace and energy and 2-3 attacking players of real quality. In open space their attack thrives, as those 2-3 players can create chances on their own. Against a deep block they can't do it and the rest of the players are average, and mostly water-carriers at that

Richarlison's turned to shit similar like he did with Watford after a bright start. Maybe he doesn't like the cold. Everton lack any spark going forward without him.

This is why I think he is nothing special.

Starts off like a house on fire but then gradually begins to fade away and is hardly noticed during the second part of the season. Overrated average player.

That Arsenal XI has 9 very average players. The 2 strikers will probably save them as Fulham can't defend. but that is one average XI.

I’m always cautious of rating players after their first few months at a new club. I think the buzz of getting a move, big pay rise, new city etc seems to elevate performances. You see so many players that start off well and then fade.

Just noticed tomorrow's live match on NBCSN (US) is Chelsea/So'ton.

I've noticed more and more that the likes of Chelsea, City, and Liverpool are being shown live in the US while United are ignored of late.

This Fulham side is full of Championship players. Easy win for Arsenal.
