Premier League Gameweek 6

Presume the people cursing a late Arse winner and rooting for City or Liverpool this year

Years of their fans harping on about beautiful football and now they look the most dangerous from set pieces only.

Deserved, they pressured them to pack their own box, it looked like Leicester had 2 players sent off.

It's September!
And? What’s that got to do with anything? We’re talking about the present not the future. You’re saying a team who could potentially be in front catching teams that are behind them?

There is nothing special about Arse corner routine other then brainless defending. 9 out of 10 corners go back post, with an arse player blocking (I'd say illegally) the GK and all they need to do have a man at back post.

Surely that was a foul by Sterling on the defender ? How was that given.

Did they only check the offside ?

Is it still lucky if they win the game by 2? Despite both being really late

As appreciative as I am, that does seem excessive.
Same place as the 12 minutes in their 3-3 draw with Southampton the season before last. Play on until Arsenal score basically, yet their fanbase genuinely believe there's a refereeing conspiracy against them because they've had yellow cards for the petulance of their players kicking the ball away.

I mean, the other team are welcome to do the same thing I guess.

I think there's a lot more skill involved in executing this obvious plan than you seem to imply. It's like the City cut back thing all over again. It's so obvious, but when executed to perfection, can't be stopped.

VAR gets something right. Probably a truer reflection of the game with the 2 goal margin.

It’s possible for more than one thing to be true.

That result will give Arsenal lots of confidence but 7 mins was out of nowhere. Not many stoppages in that half except the subs.

Leicester hard done by.

City dropping points is good and we may actually be in a good position if we beat Spurs. Top 4 race this season will be an intense one and with Rodri gone, the title winners will probably be any team that puts a 10-12 game winning run at any point in the season. Just hoping it’s not Liverpool with their new manager.

We are just so bad that it pains to think that we are just not going to be in the conversation as well

Southampton isn't the only time. It's happened several times for Arsenal especially over the last two seasons. I know we go on about the decisions City get but Arsenal have a LOT go their way. Almost like top teams all get the rub of the green more often than not.
