Premier League Gameweek 5

How the feck can anyone want this arsenal team to win anything? It’s honestly pathetic.
As opposed to Manchester City winning it for the one billionth time? I'll take Arsenal all day every day thank you very much.

It's about time the game has a clock that is stopped for every stoppage. Play only an hour if need be.

Performances like this win leagues though. If they can hold on that is. Going to be about 9 mins of extra time, city going to batter them. They got to bring out the dark arts.

Has it actually won many leagues recently?

All men behind the ball smashing it long, getting physical with the opposition and relying on set pieces.. sounds familiar
Yes in a one off very tough scenario away to the best team, with 10 men for half a game.

Stoke would do it for 90mins against anyone.

If only there was something they could do to stop this…

Either add on every second or simply introduce stopping the clock. Even if you only do it in the last ten minutes so games don’t go on for three hours.

Arteta is such a bellend but could just well get over the line this year. Back to back games where people tipped them to struggle and they've managed them superbly.

He's coached them to be defensively superb to be fair.

I really don't know what people are expecting. Arsenal are playing 10 men against City away. Are you expecting them to come out and get easily beaten?

This is exactly what they should be doing. It has been perfect so far.

If they win this, it will be an amazing game management performance from Arsenal.

We should learn.

Mourinho-esque

Are you thick? They are a man down winning against city, what do you expect of them?
You'll probably get a booking for that start to the post, but a lot of people are being exceptionally disingenuous equating desperation tactics away to City with a cynical long ball oaf Stoke style team.

7 minutes after more fake injuries than a season of Holby City.

If refs keep rewarding this, it'll just get even worse. It's making football nigh-on unwatchable at times.
